FORD XR6 turbo come out of factory with black powder coated FMIC. There stock intercoolers are fairly small, but are good to flow between 270 -300rwkw, and has been proven by many! APS also powder coat most of there intercooler black, along with many other workshops with big HP cars.

What is it with these new young kids and the idea to de-turbo a factory turbo car!? They made a NA series, and a turbo series for a reason! If you don't want the turbo one, ffs buy the NA one! I've heard it like 4 times in the last month, and its just dumb. EDIT: If you really want a skyline just say, and you cant drive a turbo one for instance because of power to weight laws or whatever the case may be.. Best thing I could suggest is to buy an NA Skyline or whatever it is that you want, drive it around for a few years, save up more cash, and once you get off probationary period sell it and buy your self a turbo one. By then you would have have more experience and you can enjoy the car without any issues with the law.

Fuel filter model number is, z200 or z2001 for normal, if you want a bigger one its z32. If you read the above links it will give you more information. Advantages of z32 over standard etc.. What's the difference between R33 stock cooler and R34 stock cooler? Just curious on why these are soooo goood.

I've seen intercooler cores powder-coated on twin turbo LS1 motors, running well over 240rwkw without an issue! Some of them running 11sec passes at the track, and also being street driven, daily. Dont think it would be an issue! It is quiet thick, but when exposed to air they to cool quiet well..

You dont run synthetic oil in a brand new motor which your running in. You run some cheap thick oil. If you run synthetic you will do damage to the motor before you run it in. The reason you run thick oil is so the rings seat and wear in correctly.. Call an engine builder and confirm! What the hell are you guys thinking?

Just sell the 2835 to me, and buy an externally gated one! EDIT: Okay you can change the exhaust housing to an externally gated one thats not a problem. Or if you want to be a cheap-kunt you can weld the internal gate shut and run an ex gate. Reason for wanting to go ex gate, other than for the scream on boost? If you dont have another reason stick to the internal gate!

I mean its just for a street tuned RB20, hoping for something around 180rwkw+ I am assuming it will not make any difference, but if someone could tell me the pros and cons of a 2 layer & a 3 layer that would be great! In regards to painting the cooler, have had them powder coated in the past, and also seen them powder coated on some high powered cars. Powder coating gets the best finish, and paint doesn't chip/fade anywhere as easy at cheap shit paint out of a can. Anyone else had there's powder coated? I will be getting mine powder coated for a mint finish. I know its an old thread, but me and DjeMz were talking about it and thinking of whats best, so thought I'd bump his old thread up. Thanks, Abu
