LoL Anyways.. Thanks, Abu EDIT: I just re-read, and you have 2 x "f" = TUFF, and I have 1 x "f" = TUF. Mine sounds more tuf in my opinion lol

No way man.. Rims and exhaust make it unique and different. Thats what makes it look tough.. Different rims and single exhaust will make it like all the other boring R32s on the road! I might as well just paint it black and raise it while I'm there!!.. Thanks, Abu

Thanks Kane. Will and have been putting it to good use, and will continue too! lol Thanks, Abu

Hey Its just stock with CAT back exhaust and pod filter, running standard boost, so not much more if any more than stock power man. Thanks for that. I agree, the kit and wheels make it what it is! That green stuff is when they have the car on the ship, they put streamer/ribbons on each side, on the mirrors. I am assuming its so they know where the widest point of the car is? Thanks, Abu

Hmmm fair point!!! Editing now... and all good lol Yeah its really clean, I was pretty surprised my self when it arrived. It was cleaner than in the pictures. Thanks, Abu

Hey guys I'm pretty bored at the moment, and don't know what else to do so I thought I'd post a few pictures and a quick write up of my car up on the forums. My cousin imports through contacts in Japan, so we started looking for an R32 for me, couldn't find much at the start. All the usual black with minor mods, then this silver one popped up and I just had to have it! Its a 93 Silver R32 GTST. It arrived fresh from Japan on Friday 27th July and was ready to pick up on Wednesday 8th of August. Here is how it looked in the mechanical inspection pictures from Japan. As you can see by the pictures it was pretty clean and everything looked fine so I went a head with the purchase. Mods included; Lowered Springs & after market shocks 3" CAT back exhaust with twin cannons GTR Front Side skirts Apexi Power intake Greddy gear knob ADVAN Super Racing 17" wheels Nothing over the top, but really clean and well looked after, so I was happy with what it had. The day I picked it up, stopped by a friends place in Richmond and we headed down a local park and took a few pictures, his red very tough FC and my R32. They look pretty tough together! Bought it home and gave it a quick wash and took it for another spin! Couldn't be happier with it! Later that night I put in a GTR fuel pump and left it as it was. Next day I got to work and installed some TEIN Flex coilovers and an AEPXi EL2 boost gauge. I adjusted the coilovers to a nice ride height and damper and ended being very pleased with the end result. It is a little low I know, but the riding and handling is awesome! Full detail inside and out, and it came up looking absolutely mint. :sorcerer: Going for compliance soon, then after that goes on the front mount intercooler kit, up the boost and put my APEXi SAFC II in and give it a quick tune. More of a weekend car, don't want any serious power out of it, more response and handling. Will get some interior pictures when I get a new digital camera! Anyways, here are the most recent pictures of it, let me know what you guys think. Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys like it.. The R33 in the pictures in my cousins, TAXI33 is his forum name.. They look happy together Abu

Are you serious? If the engine doesn't get enough fuel, and your giving it throttle.. its going to get more air than fuel? Therefor it leans out.. causing detonation. It wasn't holding enough fuel pressure in the fuel rail as the return fuel line was leaking pressure, meaning the injectors weren't pushing in enough fuel like they should been into the cylinders and the air/fuel ratio was all wrong.. If AFR's are wrong, you run the high risk of detonation/ping. Driving it off boost was alright, but would have been running more on the lean side, thats why up top when you gave it boost there just wasn't enough fuel to keep it running safe.. so it would detonate. Thanks, Abu

Item no longer available as I was under the impression it was a different branded item to what it actually was.. Thanks, Abu

Hey Selling my R32 GTST fuel pump. It was in good working order when removed, and was only removed to be replaced with a GTR fuel pump. Comes with the wiring harness and a GTR tank filter. Located in Melbourne, south eastern suburbs. Chasing only $20 + postage. PM or or SMS/call 0416 623 381. Thanks Abu

Its just like impossible to know what it is without hearing it. You will get 50 different possibilities and it will probably be none of them! Definitely not BOV, nor cooler piping according to you. Best to take it to someone who knows what they are doing and hearing, and they will be able to tell you within a minute of hearing it. Good luck with it. Thanks, Abu

Okay problem solved, and it was an unusual one. Like I said, when I got the car it was running a standard R32 GTST fuel pump, and what I thought the problem was, it was leaning out up top (5000rpm + ), due to not receiving sufficient fuel. To me it sounded like the fuel pump was tired so in went the GTR pump. All was good, but still detonated under certain loads, so obviously there was still an issue. Everything else was fine, except the variance in idle, 100 - 200rpm. Quiet odd as it should idle at one consistent RPM, checked the all vac lines, everything was fine. Re-checked timing, and plugs, all is fine.. Been smelling fuel in the back of the car, nothing much just vapors which was still fairly odd. After a quick drive today I noticed a few drops of fuel under the car, so I opened up the boot and checked the pump cradle where the 2 lines connect to (fuel feed & return) and one of the hoses where split (return). Problem was: GTR pump had more pressure so took care of the detonation slightly, but it was still there. It supplies more fuel at a higher pressure obviously to the standard pump, but still detonated a little as there was a split in the fuel return line, and was getting bigger.. The split in the fuel return line was releasing pressure slowly, so less pressure in the fuel rail. Hence the fuel smell in the cabin and the detonation up in the high rev range. Over time the fuel return line gave in and fuel began to leak out. Replaced the fuel feed and return with 2 new hoses, and surprisingly idle is mint, doesn't step out a beat, and no more detonation!! Simple problem, but took some time to work out. Thanks to those who replied to help, much appreciated. Thanks Abu

These rims are tough as! Look mad on any car. I have the same ones on my R32 but just polished, and was planning to get rid of them, but changed my mind once the car arrived. You have to see these in real life, good value for money and a hot looking rim! I've attached a picture of what they look like polished on a R32! Someone buy them you dont know what your missing out on. Free bump mate, Abu -
Hey man How are you? Congratulations on the SAFC, your definitely in for some awesome results now! Okay, so I am assuming you have the following; Fuel pump (GTR, WALBRO, BOSCH 040) Intercooler 3" Turbo back exhaust From memory you have a GTRS turbo? And the SAFC Neo With a good tune your looking at anything between 220rwkw - 250rwkw.. on around 16psi. I know that there is a lot of variance in my estimate but it all depends on how the stock injectors hold up and if you have the supporting mods I have listed above! Make sure you run the turbo in its efficiency range which is usually 16psi+, and you will get a very punchy power curve and make some awesome power. If you over boost it you will notice little gain from more boost, where as if its in its peak you will get more gain from less boost.. if that makes sense! But the tuner should know all this so there is no reason for you to worry, just ask for a safe tune, around 16psi or up to about 240-250rwkw if possible, safely! If its only 220-230rwkw your chasing then not an issue, you should make that very safely.. The tuner will be able to drop the timing back etc.. when they have it running on the dyno, but you should be looking at a minimum of 220rwkw, and nothing less, again depending on the above mods I have l listed. I wouldn't pushed past 250rwkw going by what I have read, as the stock injectors would be getting right up there in there duty cycle, the more you push them the less -reliable they will become and the more chance you having of dropping a cylinder. Anything up to 250rwkw on standard ECU + SAFC NEO your laughing! Keep us posted on the results, and all the best with the tune! Thanks, Abu

Thanks man. Checked that one already Will bleed the cooling system as well, might be an airlock in there causing the heating not to work. Got some free time today so will run the climate control in that diagnostic mode and see what it brings up in the error table! Thanks, Abu

SOLD Thanks, Abu

Hopefully man, bargain at that price! Good luck with selling it, people are missing out bad to pass it up at this price. Unfortunately I have to pay for compliance before I can go spending 900 on a turbo!.. But if things change I will let you know. Thanks, Abu
