One question. Was it originally an RB25DET, or did you convert it to T from RB25DE? If your rings are gone it may be due to boost wearing them out, as the RB25DE has a higher compression as oppose to the RB25DET.. Thats if that is the case of course (converting an RB25DE to RB25DET).. Or you may have just got a tired RB25DET motor by luck. Thanks, Abu

It is 520AM and I am pretty out of it, but from what I read; If your crank case is being pressurized, it means that there is somehow air getting through into there? How? Because your rings are gone, and when it goes for the compression stroke, air passes through and past the rings, as they are worn. If that makes any sense.. that what I think it is. Had past experience with worn rings and when car was on boost, it would just piss oil from every where, crank case and all.. Turned out the rings where gone. (wasn't an RB though..) but same shit. Hope that helps. Your best bet is probably to wait it out unit morning when help arrives Thanks, Abu

Well since where posting up skyline videos lol.. This R34 has a nice spool and the maddest dose I have ever heard from a R34, built and tuned by HKS.. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t0XjPnsCbA4 This 2nd R34 is built by MINES, and is an absolute machine. Crazy spool up. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=42KwIMakoaE Enjoy! Thanks, Abu

After seeing that video, you don't have to tell me twice! Thanks, Abu

Definitely not mine, but this thing has the maddest spool ever! High mount HKS-T51R SPL ball bearing turbo kit! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dRgFc-NyKJo Off tap! Thanks, Abu

Hey man Just to let you know, I'm 90% sure this is correct but an SAFCII or NEO will not support after market injectors. Pretty much if your stock ECU doesn't know or support it SAFC wont be able to tune it properly.. But any type of tune will see you results, so you will make some good power with the SAFC, and also will get a lot better fuel economy! With a right tune you will see the car become more responsive as well. Post up your results when you get it tuned Thanks, Abu
-
Jeez! Thats some seriously good power man, with minimum upgrades. Ah I see because of the timing it runs a little funny hey, but still, minor compromise for that sort of power. Even for 14psi. 244rwkw is huge man, I'd be so happy with that! Whats the efficiency range on those KKR430 turbos, probably about 16psi? What you got planned next, and say if you were to go to a PFC for example or any other stand alone ECU, would you see any more power gains? Or would the improvements be more better fuel economy and response due to more of a finer tune? I guess what I am trying to ask, is what advantage do you have with running the SAFC over a stand alone ECU, besides things such as cost of a stand alone ECU + tune and also cop/legal issues. But that is some awesome results on such a stock motor, I'm impressed!! Thanks, Abu

Stock R34 Dump Pipe And O2 Sensor.

The agreed price for your turbo was $280 delivered.. so simple maths tells me, thats already $30 greater than vsute's ASKING price. Therefor I am already at a $30 saving by not purchasing your turbo?.. And he is asking price $250 NEG.. meaning there is room for negotiation? So how about you do the simple maths and work out where I am saving money? If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a PM instead of trying to put me down in this thread. Thanks, Abu -

Yep, something did come up. My car failed the initial AQIS inspection and I was stuck with another invoice for an amount which I did not budget for, therefor I said I cannot afford to buy your turbo. Hence why I am looking for something cheaper, locally. That will save me paying postage on top of the cost of the item.. But like I said in my PM, if things change I will get back to you, but they haven't. I am now playing with less of a budget meaning the cost of your turbo is out of my budget. Sorry to go off topic vsute, this should have been said via PM. Thanks, Abu -
Nice result mate. I have to agree with you there, stick with the RB20! To many people give up on it too quick. What do you use the car for? A good set of suspension (coilover's) would go a long way, you could make some good use of that 217rwkw! That would really help you get the power to the ground, weather your drifting it or using it for track use. Even on the street it would be quiet an improvement. CAMs would also be alright, maybe more response, quicker spool up? How does the HKS2535 go on the RB20? Does it feel laggy or you don't miss it at all? Good luck with it! Keep us posted on your results. Thanks, Abu

Thats awesome man, for bog stock motor. 279rwkw is massive. Must have some serious traction issues now lol Looking at getting CAM's or anything for it at all? How much boost did it take to get to 279rwkw? Thanks, Abu

Thanks man. I am checking out another one this weekend also, but may come check yours out first as you are closer. Will give you a call on the weekend. Thanks, Abu -
Maybe expecting around 220rwkw on 14psi depending on the specs of the turbo.. somewhere around that. (rough average) Definitely don't need Z32 for that sort of boost/power. But have a read through that link above, will give you more of an idea and what to expect on an average. Thanks, Abu

Hey man How much play in the RB25 turbo? More than there should be, also does it come with the elbow? Thanks, Abu -
Cant complain with those results man, nice work. You must be over the moon as I could imagine, must be sweet to drive especially with that power curve! Is it just a stock RB25 internally? Thanks, Abu

Wow that looks mint! Best one I have ever seen, love it. Thanks, Abu

Do you have an SAFC-I or SAFC-II? There pretty much the same, but if you want to give it a go your self I have the wiring diagram's and pin outs for the SAFC-II and could get you the ones for SAFC-I if your keen? I'd suggest you have some prior electronics/wiring experience, as its not that simple for someone doing it for the first time.. but if you have an idea of what your doing its not very hard. I installed an AVCR last week into my cousins R33, did all the wiring which I didn't find difficult at all, just that some of the pins on the ECU where a bit hard to get too.. which over-all is the same sort of procedure as an SAFC installation. Let me know how you go. Thanks, Abu

Wash it again after hey, never tried that! Although when I do rinse of the car later when it gets a little dusty, and chamois it again it does come up pretty mint. Will have to give it a a go! Thanks, Abu

251rwkw, are you serious mate? Thats a lot of power to be pushing on stock injectors. Do you have a dyno graph by any chance, and what are the AFR's like? Pretty curious to see, thats a fair effort for fuel only computer and stock injectors! And just curious to what you mean when you say "at low revs its not brilliant"? Could it be you possibly have after market injectors running, and your not aware of it? Thanks, Abu
-
Similar to what Basti said, but in the past I have; -Washed the car, not with the brush at the car wash but with a sponge (car wash brush creates the swirls in the paint!) -Chamois the car until its dry -Use Meguiars Scratch X (apply lightly with an applicator, wait a few minutes, then buff off) -Use a microfiber cloth to remove any hardened/removed residue of polish -Apply some Meguiars Gold Class polish (apply lightly with an applicator, wait a few minutes, then buff off) -Use a microfiber cloth to remove any hardened/removed residue of polish And it should be looking pretty damn shiny about now! Meguiars polish is definitely worth every cent, if you go into Autobarn you can grab a different combination of sets available will applicators and a lint free cloth as well. Highly recommended, used it in the past, and was recommended by a friend, and I wouldn't use anything else. Really really good results. Thanks, Abu

Far out that is crazy! What turbo is on there? Is it still 2.5L or has it been stroked out? Thanks, Abu
-
That looks tough dani3l! DEFI, Classy Thanks, Abu
-
Thats the joy of owning a turbo car. Drive it off boost and it pretty much consumes as much fuel as any other 2.0/2.5L, but the power is there when you want it, just need to put your foot down and watch the fuel gauge droppppp! Thanks, Abu
