  1. I have now worked it out. Thanks anyways! Abu
  2. Ok I now have the pin outs! So that is alright. Can someone tell me how to hook the solenoid and vac lines up and also the other little black box style device? Also if anyone has any ideas on how to tune it, that will be great, Thanks, Abu
  3. Hey Tried doing a search, couldnt find anything on the forums, and there is nothing under the DIY/Tutorial section. Just installing an AVCR into a R33 GTST, and need the pin outs on the standard ECU to hook the AVCR up to. AVCR Wiring: Red = Ignition +12v Black = Earth Green = Earth Grey = Throttle White = Speed Purple = RPM/Injector R33 ECU: ignition +12v = Earth = Throttle = Speed = RPM/Injector = We need to know which color wires on the stock ECU these go to, or at least the PIN outs. If the AVCR is new, and never used, settings are on default, will it run standard boost or will be need to adjust it to run standard boost? If anyone has settings for an AVCR to run about 12psi(0.8bar), can you please post them up, that will be a great help. Thanks in advance, Abu
  4. Hey Yep there is about 5 for sale, and only 1 in Victoria, Melbourne. As stated in first post I want to pick one up from anywhere in Melbourne, most of the turbo's that are listed for sale are interstate. I'd prefer to check it out before buying hence the local buy Thanks, Abu
  5. Ah I see now sort of! Its making more sense. I will have to read over that again and follow the steps in the wiring diagram to ensure that I get it hooked up correctly. Pretty straight forward though, wont take long at all. So if the SAFC II is reset or is brand new and never used or altered, I can plug it in and it will run my standard fuel map unaltered, as long as the 'settings' under 'high throttle' and 'low throttle' is on zero correction? Just confirming before I break some shit! lol Thanks guys, been a really big help. Abu
  6. Have you got a stock air box to suit RB20DET? PM me if you do Thanks, Abu
  7. Surely someone wants to sell me one!? Thanks, Abu
  8. Thanks for that man. FOG35 was nice enough to PM me the 2 x PDF files for installtion and configuration. Thanks, Abu
  9. Ah awesome mate, thanks heaps. I hooked it up to a power convertor and have been fiddling around with the settings to get an idea of how to set it up! Very interesting, and has a lot of features. Slowly getting the hang of it. I will reset it, and check the settings under high throttle and low throttle before I start the car up. Will have a go at installing it sometimes early next week when the car arrives. Thanks for your help. Abu
  10. Got a bonnet, clutch fan and radiator guys. Thanks. Just need a good condition left headlight please. Thanks, Abu
  11. Got one now! :sorcerer: Thanks, Abu
  12. Thanks for that man! I told Steve and he said he will keep it in mind. Thanks, Abu
  13. Probably EBAY man. I saw an SAFC II on EBAY about 2 days ago, went for $260+postage. Was in good condition too. You can grab a NEO off EBAY, they sell brand new for about $460ish, not sure on exact figure. Or keen an eye out on the forum, an SAFC II pops up and and then, but like many have said, its becoming more and more rare. Thanks, Abu
  14. Stock turbo 3" turbo back exhaust Intercooler Fuel pump (eg: bosch 040) and something like 12psi should get you anything between 190rwkw-210rwkw depending. It wouldn't hurt to get an SAFC II, fuel only computer, to keep the fuel at a safe level and AFR down to a safe level. With a tune on the dyno you can push over 200rwkw+ on stanard ECU running the above + SAFCII. But depends how much you want to spend. Since you already have a T04, get a fuel pump, and an after market ECU and get it tuned. You will make some good power. Hope that helps. Thanks, Abu
  15. Hi Putting this thread up for a friend who has been having some bad luck with his R33 S2. He is chasing the following parts, and can pick them up or postage can be arranged. Prefer south eastern suburbs of Melbourne for quick pickup. He needs these parts by this weekend if possible. He is chasing the following parts; 1 x S2 R33 Bonnet, in white preferred, but doesn't really matter. Must be in good condition, no dents etc.. 1 x S2 R33 RB25DET radiator to suit manual 1 x S2 R33 Left headlight 1 x RB25DET Clutch Fan He has money waiting for all parts. Please call/SMS him on 0431 049 542. His name is Steve. If anyone can help that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Abu
  16. Are you saying plug the male and female plugs that go into the AFM into them selves? Thanks, Abu
  17. Thanks for that man. Will have a better look now that I am half awake and sort of know whats going on. Abu
  18. Hahah. Na dont think it comes in PSI. This ones is a mechanical gauge, came with APEXi stand, almost brand new in perfect condition, I picked it up for $100! Worth every cent Thanks, Abu
  19. OK so I got me an SAFCII but the whole thing is in Japanese, as it would be lol Anyone have a English manual for one of these by any chance? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=85232 Thats the DIY I found on doing the installation so I will be following that. Also just want to know how to set it up to run stock fuel map until I up the boost and can take it to a dyno to get it tuned? Thanks, Abu
  20. Yep. SLIDE isn't doing high-flows anymore, so your left with no option there, unless you decide to go with a GCG high-flow which is a fair bit dearer than the prices which SLIDE was offering. I prefer high-flows my self as they are guaranteed 100% bolt on, only slight modifications to oil feed line for greater oil flow but nothing more than that really. Plus they look stock, and you can never get in trouble for having an after market turbo. But it really comes down to want you want to use the car for. Do you just want heaps of power, or do you want to use it for drift/track/street/drag? Or maybe you want it to be really responsive with no lag? And it goes on.. How much power are you chasing? Anyways, I am just a bit confused with this thread. Subject says KKR430, but in the replies people mention KKR430 and KKR480.. lol Just wondering if someone can clarify which turbo is a good comparison in size to a SLIDE RB25 high flow for RB20. Thanks Abu
  21. How about a MICROTECH or WOLF V500? They both have hand-controllers so you can view all the live info straight up and they can also both be tuned via HC. Both can hold multiple maps, so you can switch between say a street tune and a economy tune. In most cases if a tuner can tune one, eg: Microtech, they can usually tune the other! They also both use MAP sensors. V500 has up to a 30PSI internal MAF, and you can get larger external ones. Only disadvantage is they are not plug and play, but universal units aren't that expensive anyway. Microtech is pretty popular with a lot of the drag cars and rotary's, they run big power. Haltech is pretty popular too, but not to sure on the specifics, maybe someone else can comment on that. Hope that helps in some way. More info from links below; http://www.microtech-efi.com/ http://www.wolfems.com.au/ Thanks, Abu
