  4. Apparently R32s from 1991 (I think) and after need to have the front guard indicators installed when compliance is carried out but for the older model R32s 1989, 1990, 1991 they don't need to be done That would be why Tony's one doesn't have front guard indicators I'm not 100% on the years but thats the reason why some have them and others don't
  5. Yep, I have the pre 8gb and had software issues with it for a while I have since upgraded to the 8gb software and have had no issues since, its practically an 8gb n95 now without the slight additional improvements such as larger screen, extra memory etc A few friends are also using the 8gb n95 and haven't had any issues, Nokia generally get it right the 2nd time around

  7. Its because your cars tuned man, half the guys on here block the blow off valve/go atmo bov then ask 'why is the car stalling, why do I get bad idle' etc etc I used to get stalling with a blocked bov on stock ECU but not on the Power FC. I also didn't get stalling issues when running an atmo BOV on the Power FC but again thats probably because of the way its tuned Its probably more to do with the way the stock ECU is tuned, it expects the air to recirculate back from the BOV to the intake and when it doesn't thats when you get stalling etc but who the hell would go get there ECU tuned after blocking there bov? Thats stupid Your running after market ECU, tune etc thats why you don't get stalling but who the hell is going to block there BOV then go get a tune done just for that? Majority of people do it on stock ECU, run into stalling issues, idle problems and all the rest of it, then a thread goes up asking why
  8. It would effect emissions wouldn't it?

  14. Hey It will not boost properly as the stock blow off valve leaks air into the plumb back pipe which then, as you would know , joins back in to the intake pipe It recirculates the air to keep the car running smooth, prevent stalling and surging through gear changes and when RPM drops rapidly For the stock blow off valve to function properly it needs to be plumbed back at all times, if you block the plumb back pipe and have the blow off valve vent to atmo you will be causing a leak, therefor the car won't run/boost as it should so probably not the best idea You can block the blow off valve on the cross pipe, block the plumb back pipe and block the vacuume line, that will work but probably won't get the sound your after

  25. If you press the clutch and it goes quiet, its the spigot bearing not the thrust Its about $8 for another one and you need a slide hammer to remove it If you buy a clutch kit such as an Exedy clutch kit, they generally tend to come with brand new NSK thrust bearings so no point buying one separately to replace, just do it all at once when you do a clutch install BRUNSKIGTST - its no big deal, change it when you change the clutch
