  12. I'm pretty sure even if its enclosed its still not legal as you can only have one induction mods in Victoria Intercooler with no chassis modifications or paper air filter/pod, secured & non oil based
  13. Not sure on the exact location man, somewhere in Docklands I will ask him for you
  14. Yep, the shield would do most of the work - I think the lid wouldn't do a great deal My pod sits similar to yours so I couldn't make the lid either but I just gave up and didn't make any of it haha I will be making a CAI like yours when I get my front bar back on the car but won't be cutting into the chassis, will just jus that opening under the head light and shove a flexi style hose through there – hopefully it makes some difference!
  15. bit of a write up on how to make a heat shield: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Cai-Box-t208789.html Steve: That is one neat CAI setup - nice work
  16. lol hahaha Alright I will give that hose a shot - its basically a transmission line but same shit, it's only going to have air going through it anyways Thanks again
  17. I thought about making something out of metal but would prefer just to use normal hose as its easier and looks more stock I managed to find some hose but it was slightly smaller and just managed to squeeze into the stock hose on the BOV outlet - would something like that be ok? Would diameter make a difference and is there a lot of pressure in that plumb back hose? I saw that flexi shit at Clark Rubber but the diameter just falls short of what is needed and I don't know how good that would be - I reckon it would melt pretty quick or go all hard and brittle. It's similar to loom tube which eventually breaks and cracks away Bunnings was useless - I had a look around and couldn't find anything so I showed one of the guys there the size of hose I needed and he goes, 'go to autoban' Thanks for the ideas
  18. No worries man - the only thing I don't like about my one is that it sticks out a little but thats becase the face folds down and also beacuse you can attach a USB drive or insert an SD on the to of the screen You can get flush sitting ones but you will need to pay a little more $ for that These cheap screens do the job but and still look great
  19. R33 GTR rims all the way - that red one looks fkn mad! You will need to roll the lip on the rear guards and remove most of the guard lining in the front guards but other than that it will fit fine One of my friends has R33 GTR rims on his R32 and it sits quiet low (rolled inner lip on rear guards, removed guard lining on the front) - I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting up some pictures of it Theres more in the R32 pix thread
  20. I've had 2 of those brand screens in my R32 - they bolt straight in using the standard brackets I have attached a picture below for you - Just to add they work awesome for the price and picture quality and sound quality is very good I paid $250 delivered for mine and it plays all formats, only feature it doesn't have is touch screen and I got non touch screen purposely as people leave there little finger prints all over the screen
  21. Hey I have changed the setup on my R32 RB20DET and am no longer able to use the stock intake pipe and plumb back system Long story short I am using a 3" metal intake pipe with has provision for the rocker cover breather (hooked up with no issues) and to plumb back a blow off valve I am using the stock cross pipe with the stock RB20 BOV and want to plumb it back into the intake pipe but my problem is I am having problem finding a hose (flexible to run from the BOV outlet to the intake pipe I am no longer using that huge plumb back metal pipe junk, as it doesn't fit with the new setup I have been to Autobarn, REPCO and Clark Rubber but can't find a hose in the right diameter - just wondering what everyone else has done and how I can get around this I had one other idea which was to use an adapter to reduce the outlet size on the BOV - so use that stock hose with a fitting that reduces the outlet size so I can use a smaller hose to the intake pipe But will this be restrictive or cause any issues? Any help would be appreciated
