linkin park, limited bass? ha! what kind of system do you listen to them on? I had a 15" sub in my last car, and Linkin Park had TONNES of bass... and I listen to a lot of trance... so yeah, I dont agree with you sorry...! Anyway, my advice for $1000... GOOD HU (at least 2 RCA pre-outs, ~$400), GOOD splits (~$250), GOOD 2ch AMP (4ch if you want a sub later... ~$350)

I haven't driven manual much (maybe about 6-7 hrs total?)- I find there's nothing to going in a straight line and stuff... but try to get me to reverse park, and nope - cant do it because I dont have the practice with clutch control... Just get the car (maybe get a mate to drive it back for you?), take it out late at night with nobody around, and practice in carparks etc until you have the hang of the friction point and what not...? That's what I plan to do anyway Or get a couple of lessons in a manual car beforehand...???

bugger poor guys, and that S15 driver... argh... All of this stuff, at a time when I'm just about ready to import... (I'm 18 and a Green P Plater)... I don't know if it's even worth it now - there was enough cop hassle with imports as it was, let alone with all this media blowout and P plater crackdown with the new laws and such...

Snail Lane/Mountain St just off Broadway in the City near UTS. Had my rear 1/4 window smashed and Blaupunkt GTA2200 amp stolen, the guy left my headunit (wasnt even screwed in), JBL splits and 15" Pioneer Sub + Jaycar 2x150W RMS amp though - wtf? This was in a 89 Merc though, not an import! (I'd say an import would have even worse stuff done to it!) That said, when I get my car - I'm also getting a shitbox Charade for a daily... the 180 isnt going anywhere near a public place!

i think there's something similar on the SR20DETs, AFAIK, from what i think i remember reading - it's there to heat up the manifold etc in the freezing conditions in japan and help the car start/keep running. i'm pretty sure that's the reason anyway. someone correct me if i'm wrong???

Is there any way I can search for cars in it? Like put in the options "RS13" (180SX), "MT", "2WS" etc and get a list of VINs, which I can then open up to see the options each car came with??? Is that possible??? :|

You have reply PM Also, Rezz... can you exchange it if it doesnt line up - like you cant open it up and swap it over to test it out, and then take it back if it doesnt line up, can you? $100+ is just a lot of money for a die cast model, and I'd want everything to be perfect if i was shelling out that kind of dosh.. hrmm...

You all have such sweet sweet cars! what's it cost to get one of these and keep it running/yr? I'm looking at moving to Japan a short while after I finish my Engineering Degree at uni - and of course I'd be interested in picking up a nice car (R34 GT-R/Evo VI-VIII/S15/etc)... so long as I can afford everything else

Are you sure you cant host it somewhere? (even on this site?) I know I don't mind downloading 350MB... hehe, well at least the 2hr wait is better than paying $5 and waiting a few days
