just got mine installed by Mercury Motorsports today.. unfortunately due to lack of time they weren't able to tune it properly.. they asked me to leave the car another nite as they need to have a cold start tune up but i had to head back to the coast and needed the car for work. still idleing bad from time to time.. im expecting a bad cold start in the morning..but will take the car back next week and hopefully the problem will be solve by then. they are having a hard time to by-pass the turbo timer though,.,has anyone had this problem ? as my turbo timer isn't working.

well...sorry to hi-jack your thread... these kits are always expensive.. the cheapest i've seen around are around the $1300 mark. but i'm heading overseas in 4 weeks time just to actually have one customly made for r33 and Mk4 supra. the plan is to get it to open up as high as possibly can unlike the one on the market right now that only open up halfway. currently in the process of making a prototype for r33. will let everyone know how it goes.

my guess is that this would fit R33 gtst skyline yeah ? interested if it'd fit.

damn...and i thought mine was bad... i'm getting no more than 360km per tank on my r33 gtst and that's on high way driving..everyday use on traffics i'd say i get around 320km per tank... but my wolf 3d is coming in next week...we will see some changes.

yeah... they do make the car stall sometimes.. i have the 50-50 one semi plumd back.. i made it a 100 atmo and everytime i take my foot off throtel-- DEAD... embarassing really.. so semi plum back works better for my me anyway. depends what state you're in.. but in QLD.. i was told plumed back are OK.. even aftermarket plumb back are legal..aslong as it's not atmo. and no power gains there either.

i have one.. 2nd hand.. holds 2 60mm gauges.. fits the A pillar. $70 plus postage.

$450 - $500 is almost the cost of a whole fibre glass bonnet...actually you can get brand new vented bonnets from carmate for $550... but i'll offer you.. check PM

that car was on Ebay for 70K i think...saw that one before...there was actually a thread here about that car not long ago...well..the topic was about the price anyway..its just way to expensive... now,.i dunno why its for sale for $16 when it used to be $70K.

well... Got all my defects checked today at the cop station and went clear of all defects..what's funny though.. Cop didn't even ask for the db noise test certificate.. just went to my car and check all the stuff listed on the yellow paper.. and DONE. coper saw a few stuff that he thinks a defect..he was surprised that the guys from traffic task force didn't see those other stuff...but i got away with it anyway. and also...i had 18's on mine...i was told by the traffic task force to get 17s.. incorrect size and load---> i told cops i had 19s..and he said.. 18's you'd get away..and i said-- that's why i swaped with a set of 18's. I guess is just all depends on how they interpret the law...the way they understand it i supposed.

Yeah i heard HKS super dragger are pretty quiet... i've got 3' from turbo to cat then 3 1/2 pipe from cat to muffler.. no resornator..took up 107dbs..but i got the stock exhause thanks to dave...will put it on and hopefully i get it done once and for all. i wonder...do u have resornator with the dragger ? i'm thinking of maybe ust getting one of them.

yea...they were up here at sunny coast awhile ago..got defected aswell..lost 2 points and 270 bucks fine ..had alot of stuff in the car that was apparently defects..so yeah. but i still dont understand though...Why does my Battery ( which located at the back of the car like any other R33 gtst i believe ) needs to be contained in a box when they came out like that ? ( me thinks anyways ). anyways..took me 4 hours to fit a battery box in my boot..now its a pain in the as# to replace battery. and also..My Tyres are 2mm too big...NOW THATs HARSH..!

Hi all...to make story short...i got defected 2 months ago..due to my busy schedules i have managed to ask for an extension for my defect.. and not to mention other problems regarding the Car. Anyways...my defect inpection is due this Friday...i would like to ask anyone -- In Brissy-- particularly..if they could lend me their stock exhause for a week..or maybe not even...i just pretty much need to bolt it in and get it checked and take it out once done. Will return as soon as defects been cleared together with a Carton of beer. I would need the one from the cat only..no need for the whole thing..just the cat thru exhause. i'd take the supra....i had a choice between an R33 GTR / R34GTT / and RZ supra..took me awhile to decide but definitely going for the supra now. i own an R33gtst.. R33GTR and R34GTT is just another skyline for me. i want something diferent this time..so i've decided to let go of the Skyline and go RZ. wish i could keep both tho.

hey there andrew... got the scratches fixed bud ? I recomend u get your dump pipe 1st..this will help give you a bit more kilowatts together with the intercooler.. with this you'd be able to put the boost up high a bit..( 12psi recomended) i'd say with just that set up you'd get maybe 165-170rwkw. with powerfc..maybe you get 190rwkw.. no need for the safc with this.

well..they'r not too bad..they'r cheaper than the split dump as they comes complete with front pipe already unlike the split where u will require a front pipe for it. i had one on mine and u can hear the turbo spools up better due to its being a full 3 inch. i know have a modified dump due to turbo upgrade which pretty much the same pipe with extention and diff. flanges..hope that helps.

well...its all depending on your budget and how much you would like to achive really. but if you want to get things done a bit cheaper..shop around..$1G's for an intercooler is a bit too much i reckon..u can now get them for $6-700 bucks..wolf 3D's are good..again,. depending which version..ii got the version 4 which has the boost setting..cost about 2-300 bucks to tune them on your prefered settings..or u can get the Apexi FC for a little less than the Wolf 3D. high flowed turbo do achive power gains...but i'd say better off getting one of those HKS or garretts ones. no need for injectors or fuel pump just yet though..they're good to handle around 200rwkw but to be safe..u might aswell upgrade them if you're aiming for bigger KWs. maybe an 044 pump and 550cc injectors will set u back say..atleast $1500--2nd hand. and there comes the clutch...u will need to upgrade that one aswell..and you're looking at maybe $700? just shop around and u can probably get them much cheaper.

Yeah...guys.,.if you have nothing else good to say just let it..ignore it..he's not trying to scum anyone for sure. T70 has the same spec as the Garrett T60-1,.same internals and is made by MASTERPOWER which used by the same company "GARRETT ".. this one actually capable of handling more than 600HP..pretty much has the same internals as the garrett T60-1. I know coz i did my search...and YES...I HAVE ONE on my R33. cost $1200 brand new...$900 is reasonable..but lower it down a bit i'd say..got mine brand new for less. good luck selling it dude.

im not too sure about the name of the shop..its just a small shop near the commercial place there.. its behind that place so its more like remote / hidden kinda thing..i think it was near Tandem Ave. forgot what the place called...will see and find out.

well..i had no luck... i just gave up..he sold me a dodgy fuel pump telling me it was 044 but it wasn't...he never replied to any of my emails..doesn't answer phones etc. yeah...hope he gets what tha prick deserves.
