I want to add a correction to the early Prince Skyline models you list with information from my Prince factory parts book produced January 1963 and Prince brochure dated March 1962. ALSI-1 series produced from April 1957, and ran to mid 1961. ALSI-2 series from mid 1961 till April 1962. The next series which never seems to be mentioned is BLSI-3 series from April 1962 till October 1962. This model (which I own one) was almost identical to the ALSI-2 series externally but used the GB4 1862cc motor. Available as a 3 or 5 door wagon also. Next was S21-4 series which was the same car as previous but with a new front as a sedan and 5 door wagon. This series was produced from October 1962 till September 1963 when it was replaced by the S50 series (notice the pattern of the numbers). All these were known as the first generation Skyline. All the Wagons were known as Prince Skyway and not Skyline. Motors for ALSI-1= 1500cc GA30,1900cc GB30. ALSI-2=1500cc GA4,1900cc GB4. BLSI-3=1900cc GB4. S21-4=1900cc G2. S50= 1500cc G1. There was also a Gloria model which was known as ALSIP-2 and BLSIP-3 which used the Skyline body untill October 1962 when it was replaced by the S4 Series Gloria(S40=1862cc G2 4cyl, S41=1988cc G7 6cyl (also used in S54 Skyline GT-A), S44=2500cc G11 6cyl). Unfortunately some of the history on the web is a bit flawed, but thumbs up to SILVIA and others previously for at least bringing the history of Skyline to our attention. I am sure others have bits of information that should be shared with everyone here, as history is important.
