  1. What Apple products are lagging behind?
  2. Current Android ones are pretty gimmicky and useless, will be interesting to see what the iWatch does though (don't think I'll be picking one up either way).
  3. Damn, looks like I won't get my car back for another week (was meant to pick it up today). The rear reo wasn't included in the initial part order, so it's being ordered from interstate.
  4. What was the total cost and how long did they take?
  5. Not sure if I can make it now. Can we do cash on the day if so? Le Mans only requires a deposit for 2 people, the rest are able to pay on the day.
  6. Nah haven't purchased the adapter yet, I heard the A22 model was a directly bolt on that's why. I don't think it will work with an adapter, I think with this kind of POD it needs to bolt directly on.
  7. So I purchased one of these which has an 85mm ID: http://www.apexi-usa.com/store/catalogsearch/result/?q=500-a021 Not realising I need the 500-A022 model which has a 75mm ID. Anyone know how I can make it fit to the RB25DET? Would an adaptor or the like work?
  8. The types of p-platers that are dickheads on the road are going to go fast and crash no matter what the car. Restricting them won't do anything, they will still do the same thing in a 4cl Camry.
  9. I'm in How many spots are available?
  10. Have a look on J-spec's website: http://www.j-spec.com.au Generally, you're looking at around $2,500 for shipping + 5% import duty + 10% GST + $3,000 compliance + $700 rego + stamp duty + $1,100 importer fee. So a $7,500 car can end up costing $15,000 on the road. The costs do add up, so check if it's worth it over buying locally.
  11. Yep definitely get an import shop to do it for you. If you were to import it, would you be going over to Japan personally to inspect it? The benefit of the importers is if you can't make it over to Japan to inspect it, a lot of them provide detailed inspections by mechanics and give you a full report on what's wrong with the car, along with hundreds of photos before shipping it over (you'll need to pay a deposit before getting this information).
  12. Choose my hours and work from home being a digital project manager / web developer. That might change next year though, I'll miss the freedom being able to go somewhere during the day and not having to let my boss know.
  13. Far too expensive for what I'm willing to spend
  14. haha, I do like the sound of the turbo blow off though, I always wanted it a bit louder which is what this should do.
  15. Anyone installed one of the HKS SSQ Blow off valves? Looking at purchasing this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Atmospheric-Plumb-back-Skyline-R32-R33-R34-RB-BOLT-ON-Blow-Off-Valve-BOV-/151073396294?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232cad1646&_uhb=1 Wondering if it's better than the others on the market?
  16. Finally fixed the boost sensor today. Turns out it wasn't soldered enough from last time, gave it another solder and added some more solder wire and it's all working as per normal.
  17. 30% off Repco this weekend guys. You'll need to be a VIP member though. It's free to sign up from here: http://vip.repco.com.au/registration/register/1141 Once you sign up you'll be sent a temporary card in your e-mail. Just print it out and take it to the store.
  18. Luckily the car is still drivable, the back just looks a bit damaged. I do need to take it in for a wheel alignment though, that's slightly off. Even though the repairer was going to do it I'll just go ahead and get it done now since I might have to wait a month.
  19. Was involved in a rear end collision. Rear bumper, 2 rear reverse lights, the back panel and a few others I think. Yep they are coming from Japan, I'm hoping it is more like 2 weeks delivery.
  20. *sigh* so it looks like I need to wait up to 4 weeks before my car is repaired again. The parts have been ordered from Nissan Australia and that's the estimate they gave to the repair shop. Anyone ordered from Nissan Australia before? How long did it take?
  21. I think you had to earn over $10,000 a year from memory, it wasn't that strict.
  22. Don't bother, Samsung Galaxy phones are the most overrated on the market. Cheap build quality with bundled gimmicky features and hardware that doesn't work properly (fingerprint sensor).
  23. Is the CAMS license a 1 off fee? Or is it yearly? Also, on another note. My car FINALLY got approved by the other persons insurer for repair. A whole month after the accident, QBE are hopeless. I should hopefully have it all repaired before the end of the month meet.
  24. Yeah also interested in getting a CAMS license. Which one should I apply for? http://www.cams.com.au/get-involved/competitors/licence-types
  25. I'm lucky that my tram line goes through the supercar dealerships. Nearly everyday I get to see Ferrari 458's, Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Aventador, Maserati Gran Turismo, Audi R8 etc. on my way to the city. It's a nice way to start the day
