  1. Spotted a Silver R33 along Tootal Road at around lunchtime today. Not sure if a member here, but I did see you looking at my car on the way past.
  2. Spotted a black R33 at Chadstone last night, I parked a few spots down from you
  3. I have FAST installed, what are you looking to find out?
  4. My R34 came with privacy glass for the back and rear quarter glass, not sure how many others did. Seeing out the back can be a bit hard at night, but it's great in stopping the sun reflections and SUV's with HID beams...
  5. Landlords / real estate agents pull this crap all the time. I remember the first place I moved into the agent tried to get me for $150 for "some rubbish left on the ground" when I asked them to provide evidence they couldn't but kept insisting I pay. I just threatened them with various things from http://www.tuv.org.au and http://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing-and-accommodation/renting saying I would be reporting them for dodgy practices, which scared them off.
  6. These 2 tools should help: http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER Use the registry cleaner from CCleaner after running driver sweeper on the Intel drivers. Depends how embedded it is, but it should do the trick.
  7. Yep clean the registry out and install it in safe mode to ensure the driver isn't installed when you logon.
  8. They deal with so many different models of laptops that I doubt they would be even aware of it. Things like this happen all the time to laptops, whether it's the wireless card, fans, GPU etc.
  9. Which model ASUS' come with it? From what I've seen it looks to be a common changeable part, you would need to disassemble the laptop to confirm this though. Something like this "should" fit: http://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Networking_-_Wireless/PCI_Express_Cards/46173-6235AN-HMWWB
  10. See if you can just trade it straight for this: http://www.centrecom.com.au/asus-g550jk-cn436h-156-led-intel-core-i7-4710hq-16gb-ram-256gb-ssd-gtx850m-4gb-dedicated-graphics-blu-ray-rw-windows-81 It was originally $2,600 so I guess you can think of it as trading without losing out. Slightly lower specs but a much better overall laptop.
  11. It's either that or sending your laptop off to MSI for RMA, wait 6 weeks, only to be told by some overseas repair person that it's fine and you get stuck in a never ending loop with a $2,600 piece of plastic.
  12. Most people on here don't know what they are talking about, when you have people like Hamish recommending laptops there's something wrong haha Should have stayed with Asus. Guarantee within 6 months you'll start having overheating issues and things like the fans will begin to fail. I would see if you can take it back, you should not have to use an external card on a device that's meant to be portable... Oh and I know Hamish is going to quote this but... if you had similar issues on a MBP you could take it to the Apple store and get a new replacement the same day haha
  13. Man you're 35, grow up...
  14. You should be able to change it over to another card looking at the type of laptop it is, I can't find any disassembly guides for it though so can't confirm that. Unfortunately MSI aren't known for their quality control, for a gaming PC on that budget I would have recommended an Asus.
  15. What model laptop is it? Do you know if the wireless card can be changed over?
  16. haha just stop, you don't understand how hilarious you sound. Built for 5 year olds? You mean your cheap plastic laptop right? There's a reason it's half the price, because it's a piece of crap. There's no point arguing facts, because you obviously wouldn't understand the details.
  17. Man you guys are morons. How much experience do you have with different laptop manufacturers? Have you worked in deployments of hardware and analysed the failure rates and reliability? Do you actually know the specifications, or do you just look at the brochure and think more GHz is better? It's always people that don't actually know what they are talking about that have these stupid biases.
  18. Then he should buy a Macbook. Anyone with proper knowledge about computers knows they are actually the best overall laptops on the market. Besides the screen size, what else do you need from the laptop?
  19. Macbook Pro Retina 15".
  20. Yeah it sucks the Series 1 is eligible but the Series 2 isn't haha. I think next year it will be though?
  21. Would love to get these, but I don't think you'd be willing to accept my offer
  22. Oh damn won't be able to make this one. Have exams the next day...
  23. haha you were heading North of the city at the time. Your passenger saw my car I think, there was another white R33 and I believe a WRX with you as well. Your car looked amazing in real life
  24. I did it online originally to see what quote I would get. Same price as everyone else. I called up to see if there was some sort of loyalty discount.
