I think the book says engine oil - 5000k, filter - 10000k; brake fluid, gearbox, power steering, coolant - 2 years; diff - n/a. I do the engine oil and filter every 3000k or so, bleed brakes every service. Changed g/box and diff recently and coolant is due next year.

Adam, if the pads are new you may not be able to rotate the hub by hand. Try spinning it with a wheel attached. You should get 1 or 2 rotations with moderate effort. Still doesn't explain the squealing, as was mentioned maybe check the shims.
