Have you seen what they charge for even a seedling these days? $40 is cheap! :uh-huh: I read about this organisation the other day. Congrats on the imminent arrival. I'd echo the comments on getting a combined capsule/seat. If you are going to buy one this is defiantely the go as you'll only need to fork out for the one seat until they get to 2 1/2 years old or so. We've got one that fits well in the back of the 33. I'll have a look at the name/model tomorrow and post it. You may find there is a company that comes to the hospital one day per week and fits/rents/sells seats and capsules. That's what happens up here anyway.

Depends which part goes. I've heard of all manner of things occuring as a result of blowing head gaskets.

Water in exhaust=Head Gasket Hope it's not... Is there any oil in your coolant?

Pads: Ferodo DS2500 are excellent on track and road. Not cheap but are worth every cent.

The water coming out the exhaust *could* be normal cold start condensation. Was it dead cold when you started it? If yes then it's probably just mixing with oil in the zorst. That being the case, maybe one of your oil lines is leaking. The oil is misting and getting into everything under the bonnet, even the induction system. This would explain oil everywhere including exhaust. It's insidious stuff oil (that's it's job!). It gets everywhere and you don't need much of it to make a huge mess. The puddle may be from the source of the leak when sitting and draining from the line.

It'll be like modding your Tamiya r/c car. You just go for the RS-540 Mabuchi 'Black Motor" or re wind the exising ones. Sales of copper wire will skyrocket at Tandy! :uh-huh:

I think it's time to say how stoopid it would be to take up that challenge.

It seems they are either: a) thinking outside the square and implementing new technologies in order to get performance and compliance with euro and california emissions regs., or, B) putting up so much smoke and mirrors we won't know wtf it'll be until they hit the car show circuit.
