If you don't have a CAMS License (and don't need one) then just pay an extra $20 on the day for a 1 day license. Even $100 is a good price for a full day! :uh-huh:

Thanks but for the moment we'll stick with the po box. Unless Shell can see a way around it we still need the original signature from the form for the card. I think there's a bit of an unrealistic expectation wrt the time it takes to have the cards made and post them out. The cards are done in batches and not individualy. You should receive an email/pm letting you know your form has been received. Bare in mind that this is not a business, we are all volunteers and sometimes the po box doesn't get checked for a week or so. Once I have anyone's form I always contact them asap and let them know. Please just be patient.

Yeah you'd be pushing it to get comprehensive. afaik CTP is void as the vehicle is not registered.

You are allowed to drive an unregistered vehicle to get an inspection done. You are not covered by insurance, however call your insurance company and explain what you are doing and see if they will isssue you a cover note.

All he said was you did not reply to his messages. From the information in both your post and his there is no way he could have known you were on holidays. Seems like a good outcome for all parties concerned is in the pipeline.

The Club has a dinner on the last thursday of every month. Anyone is welcome to attend. I' think I'll close this thread and re-open it after the february dinner.

Hiya Ming! Yep what you say is correct.

That's because the club has never had a drag event, and last year we regularly had 10 or so at a midweek circuit event. There haven't been many events of late (summer hols to blame) so it appears though attendance is down when in fact there were just very few events.

February dinner is last thursday of the month.

Yeah a Club Drag Day would be good. This is the kind of event the Club intends to run. There is a good balance of circuit v. drag oriented interest in the membership. We would probably have to get an other club or two involved to get the numbers required. However, there are hoops we have to jump through to be able to do this. Probably the biggest issue is getting our members trained and cerified as Officials. As always, please put your hand up if you are interested in becoming a flag marshall, Steward etc.

From what I know progressive springs are the go. The springs work two ways if you will. The softer part will soak up "sharp edge" bumps. That is, typical road bumps, small holes etc. The firmer part looks after handling charactersitics. Do some research, there are a few aussie companies that make springs for the 33. Another thing folks is just remember/be aware that the Club, "Skylines Australia NSW Inc", is a separate entity to the forums. The Club uses the forums as a contact point and way to get information out to the members (and vice versa ).
