  1. Just answering Jimbo2000's question. Yeah it's wrong isn't it Franks. For example, boost controller threads should be in Forced Induction Performance. If everyone just posted in the right section it would be helpful, but they don't and never will. I move plenty of threads all the time and most people don't mind (as long as you pm them) but it would make life easier if they just read the name of each section. The titles are all self explanatory and it's not hard to get the gist of each one.
  2. This month's dinner will be at: Kyoto Teppanyaki Shop B2/ 372 Pennant Hills Rd Carlingford 2118 (02) 9871 0377 Time: 7.30 pm Post up here if you're coming by tuesday 24th.
  3. This time we'll be at: Orchid Thai Cuisine 296 Great North Rd Abbotsford NSW 2046 ph: (02) 9713 5248 post your interest here. Need to know the numbers by Thursday the 18th.
  4. The Sports Car Club of America will be running a Drift series this year. I did read they were going to use only Pontiac GTOs but I think this is incorrect. Should some good footage coming up. http://www.scca.org/news/press03_146.html another good article here: http://www.autoweek.com/search/search_disp...883517&record=1
  5. Are they just standard springs that have been cut down? If so you will bottom out, hit the bump stops and bounce off the road. If you happen to run into someone else you will be in deep shit as the accident investigation units are not fools and will discover this in no time. Your insurance won't cover you and the cops will throw the book at you. Sounds harsh but that's life.
  6. It was a case of them wanting to be able to post whatever they wanted and us laying down some basic rules about what was allowed to be posted. They didn't like it and left. SAU got more people signing up in spite of teamwestside departing. As far as the turnout to forum based events I don't think there were that many last year anyway (well not as many as 2002). We split the states as there were getting to be too many threads when they were all combined. I reckon if we combined them again it would be a backwards step.as there are even more members on here now.

  15. So is it sluggish or running rough/vibrating? If it's just a bit sluggish, and this has only been apparent the last couple of months, then it's probably just the summer heat. Wait for autumn and see if it gets better.

  17. The Honda Car Club of NSW Inc. are holding a Drift Day on the Skid Circuit (figure 8 track) on Sunday March 21, 2004. If you are interested in attending please contact Kevin San, [email protected] or go to http://hccnsw.org.au/ Cost: $80.00 A CAMS License (L2NS minimum) is required and can be arranged through the Honda Club on the day for: $20 for a 1 day license, or $45 for an annual. If you are a financial member of SAU NSW we can issue you with an annual license. If you intend to do ANY speed events later in the year I would say a L2S ($91.00/year) is the best license to get. (This exceeds the L2NS license).

  19. Merli, I think the issue is perception. We all perceive things differently, hence the issue of whether scissor doors on a car that will run 11s is rice vs. scissor doors on a excel. My perception is you and Nick have very strong feelings about this! :bahaha:
  20. Not a bad attendance for a last minute event. yours truly (Dino) Tex (Dallas) Ronin (Tosh) Merli (Andrew) Blitz (Nick) Carlo (Carlo) 4DoorGTR (Mal) B-Man (Brendan) and a flying visit by Phil in his dorifto S15. Carlo provided the laptop so we could watch vid from the Drift Day. It looked like much fun was had by all (except the 31 ). Make sure you come along to February's dinner. Venue TBA.
