  2. My guess would be the earth to the dash pcb is loose.
  3. I shall probably attend in a spectatorial capacity only
  4. Hey Paul I mean ......John, it would be interesting to see a stock 300 v. a stock 33 -t. Dino
  5. I'm keen, co-driver is keen, just have to sort out work and may well enter next year. now to find some sponsors......
  6. Excessive wear on the inside is probably 1 of 3 things Brendan: 1. Excessive negative camber. i.e. The bottom of the wheel sits out further than the top of the wheel. (the "phat cause they are fully on an angle bro " of which you speak ) or, 2. Excessive toe out. i.e. the front of the wheels are further away from the centreline of the car than the rear of the wheels. They "point out" like each wheel is turning in a different direction. However, the amount of toe out required to do this would make the car very twitchy. 3. The tyres were worn on the outside and swapped over on the rims to hide the problem. I'd go with 3 or 1.
  7. East Coast Suspension at Kirrawee are the best. :uh-huh:
  8. heh, I did that once....B-Man is still wondering which way I went.
  9. Oh, you mean that Swansea...heh..
  10. Swansea..that's Victoria right? Check out the Vic section. The guys are on the way to starting a club. The forums are seperate thing to any clubs around the country (though we share a name).
  11. The wet events are a great leveler in terms of power and skill. 600hp isn't going to help much if all it provides is wheelspin. :burnout: Smooth driving and using the available traction to full effect is the key. The GTS-t seems to be nicely balanced and able to get the power down effectively in the wet events. The porsches do so well as they have an engine hanging out over the rear axle and as such can get traction. Same reason for the Mini doing well and Renault Clios in other events. The Clubman had no chance in the wet events (~280hp and ~600kg ).
  12. Stop it Merli and B-Man you are scaring me. That cr@p should only be used behind closed doors by people called Brent in italian linen suits drinking half-double decaf lattes. Go back 2 t3h l337 sp33|< at once! :uh-huh: p3t3 luvs it g33k styl :shake:
  13. Date corrected in title.
  14. Results are up at: http://duttonrally.com/defNSW.html Duncan and Pete scored 10th outright. A fantastic effort in the GTS25-t up against all kinds of Porsches and M3s etc. and drivers like James Dutton and Warren Luff. Dominic took 11th outright in the only GT-R in the field. Next year I think the competition will be tougher when more people figure out what a bargain the Skylines are performance wise. :uh-huh:
  15. Very well done guys! :uh-huh: Glad you showed those fancy schmancy exotics a thing or two. Is there a link for results anywhere? My bro-in-law was the co-driver in the winning GT3 and I want proof dammit! :bahaha:
  16. Go Team Duncanfatz! and Team Dominic! Do SAU proud guys. :uh-huh: We expect great things (just to wind up the pressure) :burnout:
  17. Wow, $215/disc is a good price off the shelf for the DBA 4963s. :uh-huh: The group buy was good at the time @$209.00/disc.
  18. Now flow testing is new to me but wouldn't the best way to test it be at a common point in the runners with the runners attached to the plenum?
  19. I think you can do it through Australia Post. Just rock up to a Post office and fill out the forms.
  20. restecp to the Monster
  21. SAU membership is valid for 12 months. CAMS license is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, then you need to renew it annually on that date.
  22. It's all here. http://cams.com.au/content.asp?PageID=Comp...rs&ObjectID=311 No test.
  23. Title edited to comply with strayan.
  24. $91.00 You have to get the form from me or CAMS Paramatta office (not available as download for some reason). My price to hand over a form is a beer.(j/k) (no I'm not) (who said that? yes I am)
  25. I can now issue L2S licenses to club members. You get a slip which is valid for 30 days and can use it as the license until the real one is sent out by CAMS head office in Melbourne.
