    There's less humidity in the air in winter -> air is less conductive -> static electricity can build up without being dissipated by the humidity. Man made fabrics are the worst. Solution: Stop wearing the polyester jumpsuit and nylon undies or just work blue. :shake:

    Sounds like something that's getting heated up bit by bit with each key turn, then voila! enough contact to make a circuit. Starter relay, fuse, battery terminal etc. Auto electrician should be able to track it down.

    Dunlop FM901, about $1200 for 4, 235 and 255 17s. That was over a year ago and I've heard there's been a price increase since. Great tyre for the road or trackdays.

    Great stuff Ben! Thanks for posting it. A word of caution to all: Try not to breath in any brake dust. It may contain asbestos. A good idea is to wet down the area with water to stop the dust becoming airborne.

    Had the same problem. Was fixed on a dyno by adjusting the timing. Just another thing to consider.

    Take them back and tell 'em you were sold a dud tyre! It blistered after only a couple of hundred lap-...err...kilometres!
