You could put a jet between the pipe off the intake and the wastgate (by-pass the std flutter valve), but it would be an inefficient way to do it.
Buy a bleed valve, still not the best but better than a jet.
B-Man the NZ prices should be GST exempt for export too.
Combine that with the exchange rate and there's some more food for thought.
nb. This advice is not given free of charge. The afformentioned turbo will suffice as payment.
Just think how much I saved you!!!
LOL and you're only worried about the accident damage?
Yeah it's a pain to move the cars by driving them but at least it doesn't f*** them up...
Good luck!
One way to check your clutch;
Find a flat bit of road and start off in 3rd giving it a little bit of stick. If the clutch is slipping it'll be apparent straight away. If not, you'll stall.
CAUTION - your car may blow up and I'm not responsible.
Just the shaft afaik, important to idle the engine after a high power run for a while to keep the oil supply to the turbo. Hence the popularity of turbo timers.
Prediction:Federal Government legislates that all regular fuel must have a small % of ethanol. Premium Fuels exempt , HOWEVER a new levy (read TAX) to be introduced to "offset negative revenue stream". (Because they know there will be little effective opposition. The fuel companies will go along with it and the media couldn't give a stuff)
