nissaner I highly recommend you go if it's raining. :uh-huh: It's sooooooooo many times safer to be on a track than on the road, particularly Wakefield. This track has been designed to minimise the chance of damage if you have an off. Another point is that's it's crazy fun to be out there in the wet. In fact if it's raining I'll probably attend.....

I've got a couple of good guys I use whenever possible. The last thing I feel like doing is getting in a cab and looking out for danger signs. I just want to sleep generally. I even got "seasick" in a cab on the way to work one day (heh not a good look) due to this guy's absolutely attrocious driving. You pays your money you takes your chances.

Ferodo DS 2500. Awesome pads! not cheap however. Good bite when cold and exceptional when hot. Not much dusting either. Race brakes said they have a similar pad they are manufacturing to be released in a few weeks. More bite when cold than the rb74.

Agreed Agreed, however they can teach you the theory behind avoiding such a situation. Sure there are going to be situations all the time where this applies. There will also be times where they can be avoided by good judgement. There's an old saying in aviation: "The superior pilot uses his superior judgement so he doesn't have to demonstrate his superior skill." Corny maybe, but it works for me.
