  1. Stickers have been ordered but not sure if they'll be ready on the day. I'm cooking up a revised route through the North-West that will get us to Bobbin Head around 1 pm.
  2. ...and a hand shake and shiny shoes and sometimes we drink too much red cordial and then Prank's dad gets angry and sends us home. :uh-huh:
  3. I'll check with CAMS Duncan, but I'd say these days they require all that stuff for any event.
  4. http://www.imaginationatwork.com/Imagine?_..._lscid=73636210 :uhh:
  5. I'm guessing you mean as far as events Oz? The thing to do is make ourselves known to other clubs and get invited along to their days. This will require us to occaisionally to offer to help out at their events as well. In the short term CAMS probably wouldn't let us hold a Supersprint anyway.
  6. OK as far as CAMS goes here's the info: 1st job is to get the affiliation. This entitles us to get L2S licences and compete at club events. For an event to be coverd by the CAMS Public Liability Insurance we need a permit from CAMS. To run an event and get a permit issued we need acredited scrutineers, Clerk of the Course, trained Marshalls etc. This is not going to happen overnight. In the short term we should use organisations like Aaron McGill to run these things for us.
  7. Not required for L2S
  8. In: Majanal (Dan) Bonkers (Simon) BY BY (Nick) Brendanf (derr) Me (Dino) carlo (see Brendanf) ed Duncan Kel Silver_Arrowz XXE-R32 Maybes: benm 92% DFLASH 90% XrSiSt the rest of Team Westside
  9. The CAMS L2S licence is the one you will be able to get through the club when we get CAMS affiliation. This is why we are going through the hassle and paying the CAMS fee. Then you will be able to attend other Clubs' events and compete. Gonad Man are you sure it entitles you to attend Open practise Days?
  10. Has anyone been over Berowra Waters Ferry in a lowish car? I've only ever done it in the soft roader....
  11. Thanks ed So 30 mins should be plenty of time from Homebush. We'll depart Flower Power at 10.45 am. now to figure out a route....:uhh:
  12. Bobbin Head is in the National Park (will cost $10/car to enter...) but we can book a picnic spot and there are BBQ facilities. From memory there's enough room to park etc. http://www.npws.nsw.gov.au/parks/metro/kur...ctodovisit.html Route: Revised. See later post.
  13. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...p?threadid=9975 the response has been...well...underwhelming

  21. Hmmm looks like the info on the Motoconcepts calendar is waaaay out of date. They are showing numerous Drive Days at Eastern Creek. How about a cruise to Bobbin Head or Appletree Bay? It is in the National Park (will cost $10/car to enter...) but we can book a picnic spot and there are BBQ facilities. From memory there's enough room to park etc. http://www.npws.nsw.gov.au/parks/metro/kur...pb.html#lookout. Suggested route: Homebush 6C -> Old Northen Road -> Galston Gorge or Berowra Waters Ferry -> Pacific Highway -> Bobbin Head Road Another suggestion is to follow the route above with some deviations around the Dural area and end up at Berowra Waters Ferry for a BBQ. We can have a meeting point somewhere along the route like at Windsor Road and Old Northern Road (basically somewhere there is a big carpark). Someone with local knowledge would know better than I.
  22. ***EVENT CANCELLED*** Motoconcepts informed Majanal earlier this evening that this day has been cancelled. Apparently Oran Park have decided they needed the track. Seems like a VERY strange way to do business, but we'll know more when Dan logs on... So I guess a cruise is in order...any suggestions????
  23. Dan what's the scoop? I just got your sms...I'll check back later
  24. Prank, if you look in your UBD Northside Edition at the whole area west of the Pacific Highway which is marked "Here be monsters...". I think Edensor park is near where the flame is coming out of the Dragon's mouth...:uhh:
