  1. We'll probably have it on the other site and have a link here. Want to type something up Duncan??? :uh-huh: I'll call MotoConcepts and add my name to the the group.
  2. Dyno day at Croydon Autosports last year. Seemed pretty right, they adjusted the timing, which was waaaaay out.
  3. OK folks it's all happening. We just have some printing details to sort out and we will start taking members. The Committee held a meeting on Sunday night and it all looks good. We will organise a BBQ/Cruise to have a membership day to get the ball rolling. Stay Tuned... :jump:
  4. At last an Insurace company that is pleasant to deal with. There has been some mention of Famous Classic Car Insurance before. I just organised my renewal with them for less than Dawes cost last year AND for a higher insured value. They will do a discount for SAU club members when we get the club going as well! All the more reason to join the club! Contact Details: Famous Classic Car Insurance call Robyn on 1300 88 60 29 or [email protected] ADDRESS: Unit 8, 27 York St Subiaco, WA, 6008 Australia Ph: (08) 9388 8733
  5. My Series 1 =136 RWKW stocko
  6. I'd rather not get a foam type that needs oiling, but will if there's a definate advantage. Do the cotton ones need oiling? are you happy with the Blitz? Thanks inark I'll look into it. Anyone got any experience with the O2 RUSH ones from UAS?
  7. Discs shall be done tomorrow so I'll be there. Do you want to call Dave and put me on the list Duncan, or I can. Let me know. :burnout:
  8. heh work just told me they don't need me on Thursday, so if I can get my discs machined I'll come out!
  9. This is the standard setup for a stock R33. There is a "flutter" valve that is commanded open by the ECU when you get to 4500-5000 rpm. This bleeds air from the wastegate control line. Less pressure in the line => wastgate not open as much => more boost.
  10. I'm happy with the job Mr Nissan did on the airbox
  11. Anyone know if I can source one of these on the Northside? Alternatively, is there a non Nissan part that will give me a huge power and torque increase across the range? oh yeah, panel filters only
  12. I am very interested Duncan, however my employer is also interested in me being at work then. Maybe next time...:uh-huh:
  13. Has anyone seen MotoConcepts advertise their Drive Days anywhere? They run ads in the Bike mags for the ride days, but I've never seen one in Wheels etc. I can't tell them how to run their business, but to rely on word of mouth to be a success?? I would have thought advertising at least in the various car club mags would be good value for them.
  14. 2 years [Maxwell Smart]and loving it! [/Maxwell Smart]
  15. OK Sportsfans, if you reckon their coverage of the 24 hr was not good enough then go here and follow the link.my thread in the Wasteland
  16. They "own" the Skyline name for use with cars in Oz. Last time I spoke to them there was no problem. I think we are just the bottom of the food chain.
  17. Duncan I changed the title to read 21/11/02.
  18. Steve, you're going to have to lift your game, that 7 minutes it took to reply to my question was excessive. j/k I'm after the non-slotted type. These are the ones? I read the earlier posts but got a bit lost in what's coming and what's available. The car is used for the occasional track day and mild street use. To re-iterate your earlier response you would recommend the DS 3000 pads for the track. Which pads would you recommend for street use? Are both these suited to non-slotted discs? Are the new "Clubspec" discs going to be a better product for the track and street? So many questions...
  19. Steve, are the 926 and 908 available in the Kangaroo Paw version yet? If not, do you have a time frame? Can someone post a link for the DS 2500 and DS 3000. Thanks.
  20. Not there...left a message...anyone going blue?
  21. What comes after itchy feet 'cos I feel I'm waaaaaaaaaayyyyy beyond that..... I'll ring them right now and see what's happening (don't hold your breath).
  22. heh, that's where I took my car for it's test drive! It was a done deal by the first corner Today I took the bike through the Nasho, down the coast, up Macquarie Pass, down Jamberoo Mt Road then back up the Princes Hwy. 320 km round trip. Recommend it.
  23. heh, I still owned you AND I had Doc in the car AND the A/C was on ...and for all the Melburnians, Duncan is organising the next dinner at his place
  24. Doc had too much red cordial today so I'll bring him.... as long as you don't :spew: in my 'line!
  25. I seem to have hijacked this thread from carlo (sorry dude! ), just consider me your P.A. Here's the list from the other thread: red = confirmed carlo torana_mad BY BY red900ss randy nikz brendanf hulmer R33Deviat Is everyone still in? :burnout:
