To contradict Porgie in the above post I would have to say that the Dunlop FM901's wear quite well. I've got them in 235/45 17 and 255/40 17. Put them on the car in March for $1240 fitted and ballanced. They are a bit noisy (road rumble), but never squeal and I was very happy with the communication and grip at Eastern Creek and Wakefield. Apart from one of the rears de-laminating after about 400 km :eek: (Dunlop replaced it without too much fuss at no charge) I am happy with them.

The pump is also cooled by the fuel. I've heard if you constantly have the pump uncovered (below 1/4 -1/8 tank) then you also reduce the pump life.

Far out!:eek: I have never heard of that happening. Do the pins have retaining clips or are thay a squeeze fit? Most unusual to lose BOTH pins. Were the brakes touched during repairs you had recently?

I like E/Creek more than Wakefield. Seems to suit the Skyline better, not as tight in places and faster. Good vid though!
