Apart from that AVGAS will stuff your cat in no time at all. I've heard it can also damage the oxygen sensor. It is chock full of lead. Even 100LL(low lead) has some thing like 4 times the lead the old Super had. The EPA will fine you big-time if they find this stuff in your car. Just a warning. get a dyno-tune and run it on BP Ultimate or similar.

I have been using the Mobil 1 0W40 for about a year now. Good stuff. This is not the same Mobil 1 that K-Mart etc sell. It's a grade above that. You may have to order it in from a Mobil supplier. It's about $16/litre but it's worth it. When I get the Mobil sock number I'll post it up. Most of the Nissan dealers sell the oil filters for about $7-$8. Better than the Repco price (about $12).

There were a couple of "gumball rally" type events held in Oz years ago. Not the Cannonball Run in the NT but Sydney-Perth. Totally crazy stuff. The guys my mum knew got a falcon and modified the boot to be a fuel tank. 1 driving, 1 awake watching the driver, 1 asleep in the back. They'd change seats on the run and only had to stop for juice a few times. The guy that won had a ute with a fuel tank that filled up the tray!!! 8O 8O I think it died out after a few years when some of them got arrested.... :roll:

The law in NSW is that on a freeway you must move to the left unless you are passing another car ie. "KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING". If there's one thing that REALLY CHEESES ME OFF it's drivers that sit in the right hand lane. This is both a discourteous and frustrating habit. :x They are either oblivious to the cars piling up behind them (scary thought), self-appointed speed police or f***wits who don't give a sh1t. I don't know what the definition of "overtaking" is. As long as there is a speed differential one would think that you were "overtaking". When there are no longer any cars to pass, move left. The problem with doing this is you may lose your "slot" in the traffic due to every other f***knuckle speeding up to close the gap. A comprehensive driver training programme is way overdue in Australia. Followed by mandatory re-testing every 5 or so years for ALL OF US! Just my $0.02

Ryan is always happy to help out. If you had not noticed he also mods the Car Audio forum. So he pissed off a few people on SDU...big deal!!! So what if he doesn't have a Skyline. If I sell mine will I get booted from the club? Have the club open to ALL who are interested in Skylines. If we are going to have a proper club lets start thinking in a mature and sensible manner and not let personal bias get in the way, otherwise the club is doomed from the start.
