    My Evo Sold!

lol, I am about to sell my Typhoon and buy an Evo... You'd better have cash for tyres, it seems like I never stopped buy rubber
  2. My cousin went through the same thing with a girl up on the gold coast... must be the water up there. He ended up having her 'visit on holiday' for longer and longer periods of time... until she was staying for periods of upto 3 weeks and more. It ended up being that she was really holidaying back at the Gold Coast. The mother soon adapted to the new setup and it wasn't as hard for her to let go. His game plan took over 18 months and cost him a lot of money, but I believe it was worth it. She is a great chick and they are now married with a kid..
  3. First time out and I had a ball... the Taxi only managed to get into the 1:32's but I am pretty happy with that as I only expected 1:35's. I am sure there is more time in a lap due to my driving and I had the wrong fluid in the brakes,, kept getting spongy after 3 laps... All in all most fun I have had in my car to date... thanks SAU!
  4. Signed and faxed off form... ready to rock where do I check to see if my name is added to a list?
  5. I'd like to do this just need to get the day off work...
  6. Yeah im in for this...
  7. When was the last time we saw trouble at a western suburbs common car meet spot of Noble Park’s scale? I am sure illegal street drags occur, however they are much more controllable for police than a 500 strong crowd of publicity nightmare like the one at Noble Park. The point is the fact that Calder Park run numerous cruise/drag/drift/circuit nights/days it alleviates the situation. Good for them, police and the council… There is nothing in the South or Eastern suburbs! I can almost drive to Heathcote on a Saturday morning in the same time it takes to drive to Calder on a Friday night. But the cost of trailering a car to either, plus entry and other expenses make both an expensive time consuming solution. We all understand that Sanddown will not cure the problem but it will help a great deal. SKY031 people like you are part of the problem not the solution. A true car enthusiast will fight for drag strips and grid girls on every corner.

    Deca Review

emts... Did you happen to get much of the Typhoon Taxi?
  9. MSDS?
  10. V-Power replaces Optimax and is available at most Shell servos V-Power Racing replaces Optimax extreme and is located at only a select few Shell servos. The website says its actually beter than Extreme was with a minimum of 101 octane and often more than that. Maybe that is a good reason not to tune specificly to it?
  11. On my third tank... i usualy get around 300kms on BP ultimate. I am getting 320kms on VPR... But my custom tune which was originally for BP 98 is working much better on VPR. Heaps more mid-range from my seat-o-pants meter. Only thing I have noticed is at high RPM in 4th gear the car is tapering boost out earlier...
  12. Was good stuff Jack... The thing is, it looked like you were doing it with ease! You really are the Stig
  13. Not really that much trouble. I have 1.50 firmware but its no hassle now with DEVHOOK's latest release. Plus it has addressed a small problem with running games at 333MHZ and locking. Only problem is some of your savegames may not work. Oh yeah Torrents are the way to fly!!

    Deca Wind Up

Awsome day! wish I could have stayed for the Night but I am not sure how the old man would have enjoyed that?? Regardless I had a ball and the AMG didn't die on us. Came away quite impressed with my dads abilitys at 59yo!! We took it easy in the car all day, but was still happy to look good having fun. Anyway, I am bringing the F6 and a spare set of tyres next time!!! Thankyou to everyone for putting on the day!! P.S. Ross, love the 32!!!
  16. Got Devhook running 2.71... and some iso's GTA: Liberty City Stories As good as any other GTA. Even better with the cheat codes once you have finished the story... which btw is only 45% of the game. Syphoon Filter Dark Mirror This games makes the PSP! although the controlls are a little hard to learn... Legend of Heros Long game that turned out pretty good. Outrun 2006 Board of this in 5 hours Tekken 2006 Board of this in 4 hours
  17. Usually you can walk everywhere, pits and all. The entrance from memory is off Springvale road, via Sandown Road.
  18. No but some bloke from party of five took out 2nd place though. ;P
  19. Shit, I thought the Battle Motor Kana's were not counted... I just wasted my tires and did joy rides. Oh well next time...
  20. Thanks Snowy/SAU for organising the DECA day I had some good fun. I hope someone got some footage of the F6, I want to laugh at my efforts at hurling the family car around the cones. Cheers Aaron
  21. So would I, but the operative word is "money"
  22. I love a 2 door us much as anyone does, but I needed a bigger 4 door, which rules out the only other 2 cars I would have considered, GTR or Supra. Autech, what is so backward about a Ford F6 Typhoon? The engine is up there amongst the most advanced in the mass produced market. The Suspension is award winning. The car is heavy compaired to a skyilne but it is much bigger and has 2 extra doors. Even after all that, FPV have managed to engineer a quite respected trackable feel from the chasis that promotes very little understeer. inark, I love the Tornado but for the life of me cannot understand why they are heavier and therfore slower than the sedans??? which is the case with all the utes in the entire BA range.
  23. Well no the gearbox is new. The series 1 g/b was a 5 speed hunk of cogs. The new one is a 6 speed Tremag and is standard across the ford performance range for series 2 XR6T, XR8, GT, GT-P, F6. it is actually the same brand found in holden, however it is a slightly better example with some refinments on gear selection. The Gearbox isn't the weak point as they are rated to safley handle closer to 700nm. The injectors are the problem, boost and power are restricted at higher rpm due to limits in injector duty cycle. Otherwise the 270fwkw would be higher. I believe the manual's tow capacity is 1200kg, but if the auto comes out(which isn't due till late 05) you can get a 1600kg or heavy duty 2200kg tow pack like the V8.
  24. Top of range interior climate control colour screen FPV Dash Centre mounted boost and oil temp gauges (Gay novelty ones) stereo with amp and sub Starter Button (wank) Metal Pedals 270kw 550nm Boost lifted to 0.64bar Dual ram cold air intake Heavy Duty Valve Springs 50% larger intercooler Higher flow cooler piping High Strength Con Rods Oil Cooler from Targa Tas last year fitted to XR6T Twin Plate AP racing clutch 6 Speed Gearbox (same as XR6T) Revised Suspension setup Revised Traction control setup Revised LSD Setup PBR Brake Calipers with Grooved rotors FPV ECU Flash 18" FPV Rims FPV Body Kit A driver training course Oh and injectors remain the same. Not bad for 14K extra IMHO. I supose that's why I brought one
  25. OK this is a bit late, but I have the best kept secret when it comes to Cinemas! Relativly new company Anderson Cinemas, has opened a new place in Victoria Gardens Richmond Burnley Street. The screen is huge, the seats are better that Jam Factory and the Sound is unbeatable. I watched ROTK last night and the bass vibrated my clothes!
