hey guys iv got an r34 gtt manual and i just need to know if anyones gearbox clicks from 1st to 2nd when changing at low rpm for example stop and start. however when its at a high rpm the gearbox changes from 1st to 2nd smoothly will it be an gearbox oil change because iv just had my 4th gear synchro rebuilt and the mechanic said to me all the other synchros are fine except ur gears are wearing out abit and will last about 5 years of normal driving which is fine for now.

i got the problem checked out at dandy gearbox n clutch specialist today they found out that my 4th gear synchro is on its way out and the clutch still has abit of bite in it which they say, just letting everyone know that i got quoted $1800 including an excedy clutch, and a 4th gear rebuilt farking expensive shit..... the clutch alone costs $1100 and the 4th gear rebuilt including stripping the box apart and putting new oil in $700 and they give me a warranty on the 4th gear but not the clutch.

any other suggestions?? i also noticed tonight that all my other gears are abit harder to slip into gears i have a feeling it might be the clutch but the only thing that amazes me is why does it crunch in 4th

where is a good place in melbourne for this to get checked out any one have suggestions please?

its a gtt and it only happens when i punch the accelerater and change gears reasnobly fast at around 3-4rpm and also it slips in 2nd sumtime or 3rd but when im in 3rd and im just creeping to 80 in 3rd it doesnt do it but it kind of clicks into 4th gear.? oooohhhh and also wat i mean by fast is when im at a highspeed like above 80 i have to hold the cluthch in for abit longer so it doesnt crunch?

heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp lol........ im freaking out....

and it doesnt do it while im down gearing :S i hope its not a syncro? and also when im changine quike if i change slow it doesnt crunch.... arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

hey all, i have a problem when im driving and i change 3rd to 4th gearr fast the gears crunch :S and also the clutch is sliping in 3rd would it be a worn clutch? and the gears do not crunch on idle....? thanks

hey all, iv got a mate that works at ford and he can get me a XR6 turbo map sensor im just wondering if this could be wired up to my apexi PFC or how are these things connected up? are they difficult? and can it be done?

i found the dignostic test procedure but it says only for nissans 1988-1994.... :S ill try it tommoz is the ecu on an r34 the same as an r33 near the passenger side?

where can i get this fault fixed? nissan dealer im from melbourne...

would it be an o2 sensor ?

hey guys, tonight i was driving down the freeway in 3rd and noticed as soon as i put the foot down to change to 4th gear my engine light flashed and then didnt come on again.... i have a stock r34 only mod is a catbak zorst, wat does it mean when the engine light comes on? the car felt normal though it didnt sound like it was missfiring or boost cutting... any help will be appreciated thanks

yes i have it seems to be ok it stil has the same oil from compliance i think i should change it..... they might of put shit oil in it
