  1. Hey guys. Don't know if there's already a thread on this. But just wondering if I could get a bit of advice. I've had many mixed opinions about this topic. I currently have and R32 RB20 (4 Door) with just the right amount of mods. I've done what I can without taking that next big step... Turbo choice! I'm think I'm tossing up between a GT28 RS or maybe a GT2530 or or somthing similar from the Apex-i series or the TD- series. All proper precautions have been made. Just after some feedback, thanks guys. Sava. fulllock.com
  2. 4 Door all the way guys. It's simple!! They look tougher, especially with a Vertex kit!! So Simple.
  3. Hey mate. Juat wondering if you have any HD clutches still available? For an R32. I'm in melbourne. Where are you situated and are they available for pick up. Price? Cheers
  4. Sorry dude. Didn't see that you already had your guards lipped. Should be sweet. Maybe a slighty smaller tyre size on the rear to accustom for the lip.
  5. Yeah should be no probs at the front dude. Rears I think you'll have to get them rolled and lipped if it does sit low. Are the Cusco's adjustable?
  6. Thinners and prepsol dude.. should work. And yeah if you've got access to an air gun... couldn't hurt.
  7. BRING IT ON!! Nothing like taking everything you know about something and throwing it in a meat grinder!! It puts everyone on a level playing field (to some extent) and 'should' separate the men from the boys. Schuey's lost his stanglehold on the sport and we have a new champ... which leaves teams with a thirst and determination to de-throne the newby. It seemed, for a while that teams just gave in to the fact that Schuey and Ferrari would dominate every race weekend (I know I did). It was absolutely brilliant to see Schuey stuggle so much this year. The untouchable became in a blink of an eye so vunerable. Due to tyres, car, and midfield qualifing. We finally got to see some of his week points (inability to drive through traffic etc). Bridgestone will play a bigger part in the ranks next yeah (Williams moving to Bridgestone) which should make things interesting, Michellin had somewhat of the monopoly of the wins, so there should be that rivalry like we had a few years ago. I can't help but feel kinda sad though to say goodbye to Eddie Jordan and Minardi... but hopefully this brings in some new blood wanting to make a name for themselves. And saying goodbye to that unmistakable V10 whine!! Things just won't be the same in that respect. As for the new engines... who knows?? Time will tell I guess. It's gonna come down to Aerodynamic packages, tyres and drivers, finally, most of the driving will be done by the driver... not a computer. Does anyone know anything about rumours to remove traction control?? Can't wait!! p.s GO KIMI!
  8. Yeah quick rub with 400 or even more should do the trick. Then I find just a can of simple Matt Black from somewhere like Autobahn does the trick. No peeling or flaking.... yet. Sava
  9. Yeah make sure that you get all the seals and gasket done properlly. If there is one certain week point with a VL, is it's cooling. Water pumps common problem. Just make sure that baby's (for lack of a better phrase) water tight. And yeah be extra vigilant when putting the timing belt back on. (speaking from experience) Sava.
  10. Hey. Are you able to get Vertex (Vertex style) rear bars for an R32 four door? If so how much. Cheers
  11. Nice seat... but what i am interested in is your GTR passenger seat... is that for sale?
  12. Hey. Do you stock Vertex rear bars for 4 doors? Cheers pls post pics to [email protected] Sava
  13. Hey mate. Are you willing to separate the front seats? I'm just after the passenger side seat if possible. Cheers Sava
  14. Proof. I was doing well over a hundred in sixty a few years ago, and cops pulled me over. They didn't zap me, so they had to let me go. If they pull you over you have the right to ask for the reading. If they can't supply it then they can't give an accurate ticket based on your speed. Sava
  15. If you decide to go a GTS, go something different. Something like a four door. As said there is no comparison between GTR & GTS. One is so far better that there's no measuring device available to compare them. If I had the cash... GTR all the way!! Sava
  16. Bahahahaha. A little turps will work.
  17. "Australian car companys are catching up with JAP technology, well maybe not so much catching up. But are putting they're balls on the line to forget about everything they thought they knew about making cars and adopt tried and proven wasys of making peformance cars." What I said. Hehe. I don't think that we have somewhat pulled away, I don't think we ever will. It's just that more and more Australian company's are adopting Japanese know-how on building and producing performance cars. We are merely piggy backing other motor company's hard work. Aussie built cars will always be cheaper to modify especially due to the recent influx of options available for bolt on fast bits. Take the VL Turbo for example, Cheap, Easy, Fast and the heart of a Japanese street warrior. The trend continues today. The XR6t has welcomed JAP parts and wisdom into building another cult classic. So no. I don't think that these modern day Aussie heroes will ever dethrone the immortal Jap street/race kings. (Regardless of fuel economy) Sava www.fulllock.com
  18. Turps... And thinners! Works everytime.
  19. Yeah but, the needle on the temp is just creeping up almost half way and the oil temp is just starting to move once I hop in. It's a small price to pay for proper maintenance.
  20. I'm running just on 1bar. Not too sure if this is enough to warrant having that problem. How much were you running? And what spark plugs did you use? Cheers
  21. Always 10-15 min before work and leaving for home.
  22. Hey guys. Just wondering if any of you would have any information on the best place to find a set of coils packs for my car. R32GTS-t RB20 It's cutting under boost, at first I thought it was AF Sensor, but at closer examination from a number of us, we believe it's the coils. Or if you guys have any ideas?? Nothing worse than wanting power and all you get is spurts and blurts!! I've had a brief look on the forums but have found diddely. I am in Melbourne so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sava Fulllock Motorsport
  23. You have to be on your toes when they get you. For sure something can be done. It's getting out of hand! I had a mate recently get a yellow happy sticker and once the cop opened his bonnet he just laughed and said "I've got no idea what I'm doing here mate so I'm just going to give you a major" This is what I'm saying. Not many cops actually have any idea what they're looking for when they open the bonnet. Another friend got done for having a stock intercooler!! It's just getting ridiculous. If I were you, write a letter to the Police Ombudsman. Stating your situation, and the fact that you believe the Policeman at the time made a wrong judgment in relation to your exhaust (of course test it before you make these accusations) But they need to know! We need to stand up for what we poured our heart and souls into. We aren't menace's, we are merely new age enthusiasts.
  24. I'm guessing that the RB25/RB20 thing has to do with the amount of posts you have submited... Just a thought.
