I steer clear of the Racebrake pads. The C2's are a good rear pad for a car with a fair amount of rear brake Bias. Otherwise you don't get much out of them at all. Even after multiple hard stops. I've destroyed a set of RB74's with the pad splitting in half and leaving the backing plate....... I went down to RB and had a chat to them and they basically told me that I had over heated the pads and they they couldn't do anything about it. Not that I expected them too. Howard was very stand off-ish about it all too. HTF do you over heat 750 degree pads? I wont be using them again, as I just can afford to have the pads disintegrate whilst driving............

the theme was road works. The whole display had black plastic laid over the floor. There was some white tape applied to simulate a road. There was speed humps, witches hats and other assorted road signs around the display.

Twas a great weekend! My ears are still ringing form the deafening drone of doof doof and scream of external gates! That's what you get when you are positioned near car install stands and the dyno....... The theme worked great, and the last minute marque was awesome too! Thanks to the guy who bought that? Who was that anyways???? Good to see so many well presented cars. Much interest was raised by the old skool falcon and the flutter wagon. Handbags car snatched (hehehe I said snatched) a runners-up award for something or other, perhaps the fat kit award or something. Pity it had issue on the dyno with it's last run a sobering 215kw.... Just a tad under the 360 it made previously. Hope it's not too bad Newts. Thanks to all the SAU crew who added the show too. Was an absolute blast. Thanks.

I'm in Melb. I've got one that will fit it. Been sandblasted and pressure tested.

I've passed a few cars through Vic Roads inspections when registering or changed engines. Basically, the guys who are doing the inspection are matching up the cars details with the details of the car. Engine numbers, Vin numbers, etc. They will ask you where the engine number is on the block unless they know the car type. They will do a quick check for visble RW items, such as tyres, windscreen, lenses of lights etc. They do not go through you car with a fine tooth comb.
