  1. I ran the car up on the Dyno. The difference between aircon and non aircon was an interesting result. The car actually made more power with the aircon on! However, with the aircon on, the power was less to about midway, then increased to make roughly 5kw extra over non-aircon. Basically we had the car on the rollers for a few hours just playing around, as it's my brother inlaws workshop. The thought behind running the aircon was to load the system up to see how much of an effect it had on the car from a detonation perspective. On his S1 Stagea, it will ping under load ie, up a hill with people in the car.
  2. Motorkhana's as SAU know it, are fairly loose to the term. DECA is what SAU associates with Motorkhanas. Big open skid pans with tyres frying, Brisby, smashing cones, Brisby, gate, Brisby, limiter, Brisby, drunken behaviour, Brisby.... get the idea?? CAMS stlye Motorkhana's are limited to size of course, obstacles (including size) and car specs. There are different requirments for each class. Classes are determined by wheel base and whether the car is fwd, rdw or awd. Check this link out for some idea of what a CAMS motorkhana is.
  3. Here are a few pics of my Series 2. Nismo clear side indicators, Tein coilovers, factory option BBS rims. Awaiting my AME Shallen MX rims to arrive
  4. Here's my dyno plot. Stock series 2 with compliance cat, some boost bled off and the CAS fiddled. This run was done with the aircon on to ensure no detonation occured.
  5. I think it looks HEAPS better wit hthose new rims! great stuff
  6. After reading the Knox TMU thread, there was a silly suggestion to start an Ex-MCCR members thread, so here it is. So hands up you lot who were an active 'cruiser'. and yes, I was one......6 years ago.
  7. 20th March hey... mmmmm
  8. Drving grass lines and ham it up with oober power gets you interwebs stylez points.... don't get me wrong it's looks to be damn fast, but being a bit tidier would probably be quicker. Tank slappers out of a corner is not fast. Check out the same car midway through this video. It shows you why it has won the UK time attack pro class season for the second year running.
  9. That'll be Scotsman's better half
  10. Thanks for the heads up. Booked marked Trackattack I'm hoping to get out and get involved again after 4+ years of no circuit action...
  11. I like the front. Looks to be done well, except for the stupid coolah and the rediculous chin spoiler....
  12. What suspension are you running? I've got a set of Tein Style Master Super Low down Wagon Spec.... stupid funny names! My biggest issue is that I can't get the front end any lower. The rear I can drop another 2". Did you roll/pull/pump your guards to fit the +15's? Do you run camber arms?
  13. It was a great turn out. It was good to meet you all also. We're down for the next one for sure! I didn't tkae many pics, but I'll post some up once I get the Camera off Nat!
  14. As the title says, I'm chasing a good-excellent condition bonnet lining. So no rips, tears, etc I'm located south of Brissy, let me know if you have one and how much you're asking. Cheers Scott
  15. Nice pics of the EMO. 2 x Blue plain clothed EMO's and 1 x white up here... sneaky bastards
  16. There is a Silver/Grey C34 S1 that lives around the corner from me with a kit, coilovers by the looks of it, rims and an exhaust with tinted rear tail lights. Anyone from here?
  17. I'm still keen. I'll meet all the Brissy crew at Springy Maccas. See ya there!
  18. Up here in Bris, in the area we're in, they are using EVO X's.
  19. Hey Pete, i'm in Boronia heights, so just a farts breath away from the main stain...
  20. So guys, is this still happening? OR has the BDO ruined it for us?
  21. Awesome looking car mate. Love the stance. 38mm of rail clearance sound like one of my old cars. love it!
  22. You mean this one???
  23. I agree that does look very nice. The V35 lines flow nicely with the M35, it was made to be I tells ya!
  24. Looks awesome. Pity the RS4V's don't have the same rear cradles to run rims with that sort of offset. I'm trying to squeeze 9.5 +25's under mine....
