  1. Can someone help me with this? I have an R34 GT-T and I know I have it setup right but this boost controller does'nt seem to work on my car... it builds boost up to the 12 psi I want... but then at 4.5k rpm-redline, it drops off down to 6psi... anyone know why this is? I've installed many many boost controllers and have never had a problems with this untill I've started using manual boost controllers on my cars.
  2. it's an R34 RB25DET out of a SKyline GT-T... we dont really have any Skylines here in the USA so I did the next best thing and put the engine in an 89 240sx.
  3. I know some guy in the states with an R34 RB25DET that made 587rwhp on stock internals.. the engine was swapped into an S14.
  4. it does a little bit... in this pic... do u know where the hoses are coming from and going to? I see that the little hose that's attached to the intake goes into the solinoid directly... is the turbo hose on top of the "F" fitting or on bottom? http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1130556975.ipb
  5. I'm trying to put my car back to stock boost (7psi) but i'm having problems... if anyone has a stock skyline setup (no boost controller) can you post pics of the wastegate and the gold solinoid that has those 2 hoses running off of it? There's 2 hoses that come off of it and i think the turbo and wastegate hook up through an "F" fitting that hook up to the solinoid... can someone post pics of it? it's on the driver's left of the engine... I pluged all the hoses back up but dont think I did it right... I'm only boosting 4 psi. I tried checking my old rb25 pics but they're all too blurry or dont have a good shot of the lines... I just need to know what hoses go where. The reason i disconnected everything in the first place is because I got a Greddy Profec B Spec II and it had it's own solinoid but now I want to run stock again. edit: there's 5 hoses... a hose coming from the recirculation pipe, one from the wastegate actuator, one from the turbo.... the actuator and turbo one goto this little "F" fitting and then the last inlet of the F fitting goes to the solinoid and there's 2 nipples on the solinoid... i'm confused what 3 hoses goto the F fitting and what 2 hoses go to the solinoid. Here's some pics of what I need more pictures of.... or if someone could just tell me which hose goes where that would be great help!
  6. do you have an aftermarket cone filter or some sort of intake? That's probally what it is because my car does that too... started after I put the filter on... Take your filter off and turn the car off and see if it still does it...
  7. yeah, i've noticed the profec b is pretty sensitive to weather conditions... I've also noticed it reacts differently at different altitudes as well... (I live in an area with a fair large amount of hills)
  8. thanks for the reply v8eta Anyone with an RB25 want to chime in?
  9. What settings are your running on yours? just curious. I'm going to play with it tonight.
  10. if it's able to stiffen or soften and it's already at the most soft it can get, then the bov is possibly broken and not opening correctly.
  11. thanks RedDrifter for the writeup. I'll give it a shot tomorrow... I spent 2 hours tonight trying to play with it and the best i got was a 11.5psi spike, 9-10psi toggle with a 25% gain, 47%set, 85 set gain... ... I'll definately try to do it your way tomorrow
  12. I now have: Gain: 21% Set: 70 SetGain: 49% These settings gave me a very nice 10 PSI pull last night. It was boosting perfect last night. Holding very smooth and pulling hard. However, today when I drove around wtih the same settings, It spiked to 11.3 PSI and then it would bounce around between 9 psi and 11psi.... any thoughts????? Thanks
  13. gain- 28 set- 100 (psi) setgain- 42 with thesesettings, it boost to 10, then drops to 5, then up to 10 again and it stays ther... When i shift, the boost drops down to 5psi and then goes back up to 10 fairly slow and stays at 10
  14. Well.. I wired and hooked everything up today... but for some reason, when i set it at 10 psi and floor it, my car would jump up to 10 psi for a split second, then drop off down to 5psi, then go up to 8psi, then down to 5psi, then back up to 8psi and it just keeps jumping back and forth... did I install something wrong or set the BC wrong? I tried every gain setting for 10 psi and it still ran like that each time... Anyone have a profec b with their RB and have this problem??? It almost seems like it gets up there at 10psi but then something opens or leaks or something and my boost goes away... I tried all the different gain percentages (from 3% all the way up to 35%) and it still runs the same... Also, is there a reason why I can only go between 5% and 35%? I hear people put theirs at like 0% and stuff... I have an R34 RB25DET GT-T engine in my 240sx if that helps any...
  15. Does anyone have R34 GT-T (RB25DET) wire diagrams? Or at least know where to get them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Eugene
