  1. One Right hand side indicator? Are they the clear type or the orange type. If orange ill take both for 100. if clear ill take one for 50 or both for 100. PM ME.
  2. Have got one of these kits...look tough and are easy to fit. Good luck with the sale
  3. IMO the round projector style is the better looking set of 32 lights. Looks cleaner and less tacky. Also means as u state that when u do a zenon conversion it will appear cleaner i reckon. That sed tho it probs isnt the cheapest conversion-probably will cost clost to 400 depending who and how much u get the lites for.
  4. What the cat converter does is uses a catalyst such as platnium or vanadium i think to convert the main toxic gasses (CO-Carbon Monoxide and NOx-Nitrogen Oxides and Hydrocarbons) into less harmful gasses. These are all pollutants which are both toxic and cause pollution known as smog. Even the hydrocarbons can be broken down by the sun into Ozone (O3) which attacks rubber, and cuases respiratory problems at ground level. These less harmful gasses are CO2-Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen gas (N2) plus some additional oxygen and some water vapour. All of which are far less detrimentral to the environment or anyone standing around yor exhuast. So if you were to stand at your exhuast for an extended period of time with no cat, you would eventually just feel dizzy and or faint from reduced oxygen in your blood. In the end, highflow cat is the way to go IMO.
  5. Hey mate. Welcome We pay about 1.30-1.50 depending on where abouts you live in Australia and what type you use. Thats a bit harsh what you have to pay over there! But ah well thats the way things work. Goodluck with everything
  6. Yeah tehy did very similar checks on mine wen it went thru. But they seemed a little more picky with your car. Plus mine didnt have a cooler or anything too modded other than rims and a different front bar. Good luck with getting thru mate. Their bastards.
  7. Although yes it is cheap power i do agree, however as stated before it is far more dangerous to the environment and your bank account if you get caught. Do you know what gasses are emmited from your exhaust when you have no cat converter? NOx and COx (Nitrogen Oxides and Carbon Oxides) are the main ones, some of which are extremely toxic. A cat coverter chages some of these deadly gases into safer less toxic gasses. Carbon monoxide is an example of this. IMO Dont do it, its not worth it really when you thing about it.
  8. As the title suggest, I’m selling a set of four KYB Stock replacement suspension to suit an R32 Gts-T (i.e. no springs). These were bought in 2004 to get my car through regency as it was defected, and have since never been used. Back then they cost $300 for 2 of them. They have done approx. 3000k’s if that and are in perfect mechanical condition. Once again these are WITHOUT SPRINGS. $200 ONO PM for pics
  9. doesnt matter whether u have stock springs, needs to be 360mm or greater from the centre of the rim to the guard. I got sent home for 3mm under that using stock springs! How tight is that! Bushings, heat shield on cat, power steering arm boots, etc are things they like. Its really hard to say what they are going to pick on but i had to go thru 2 times. Second time round so long as everything was done from the first one they sent it thru. So even if you get knocked back first time, it gets easier.
  10. Hey mate what color is the GTR wing and wat cond? Only complete dash? No separating? PM Me when you can
  11. mmm too true about the system being outdated and out of touch. Instructors are still teaching unsafe driving methods etc. in this day and age. If they want to reduce the road toll, its education that makes the difference IMO. We simply are not taugh enough as far as car dynamics etc when we learn how to drive.
  12. Its bullshit IMO. But really what can you do?
  13. You want to get rid of body roll, dont go looking for getting coilovers. These coilovers with high spring rates as give u nothing but the shittest ride around. If you want to get rid of body roll, go for upgrading your sway bars. I highly recommend SydneyKid's group buy for Bilstein Shocks, Whiteline accesories, or at least speak to him bout it.
  14. Speak to SydneyKid. He is a trader for Whiteline and Bilstein products and will sort you out. Awesome prices and gives priceless information/advice concerning suspension, braking etc etc.
  15. mmm i think the difference between Mobil syn and BP Ultimate is almost negligable. Interesting if anyone else has any commments on this??
  16. I reckon BP Ultimate or Mobil 8000 (purple) is the goods. That has just been by hearsay but only good thing about Shell that i have herd is that it gets you more km's to the litre, but its through all additives which can cause greater knock. Thats just what ive herd so by no means take it as fact.
  17. Mmmm saw the pics on NS....Was fair harsh. Glad u didnt go over the wall further up! There my friend would have been a roll over! I reckon keep the car and build her up.
  18. Cheers Mate! Check ur inbox
  19. I rekn ill go the Mobil 1 or the Motul 300V if its on special.... So what weights(viscositys) do u guys recommend for each... Im confused now!
  20. lol yeah ofcouse...cheeers again
  21. Cheers for you input Salad. Appreciated. Is there any legality issues tho with the conversion and brakes?
  22. If your looking for outrite pace, the GTS-T is the go. It has the RB20 RWD but only weighs 1260-1280KG depending on model age. Whereas the GTS-4 has all the 4WD gear the GTR has, with the same engine as teh GTS-T. Hence the GTS-4 weighs somwhere int he vacinity of 1460kg i think (someone correct me?). Both with the same power, obviously the GTS-T will be quicker. However they do have the ATTESA 4WD system which would be handy. I think a GTS-4 with an RB26DETT conversion would be the go! heheh. Then again you mayaswell buy a real GTR tho. The 33 weight diff from the GTS-t to the GTS25T-4 isnt quite so big, however the additional weight is there. Hence they are a little slower again than the RWD counterpart. Really its up to what you want outa the car.
  23. Bump. Anyone in SA????
