I have 2 sets of coilovers i am looking at selling (separate or together AS SETS!). The first set is a set of Tein HA's suited for a 32 gts-t (dont kno about compatability with other cars). They are height adjustable (not sure about the dampening adjustable). They are in quite good condition with no leaks. Run well, and will be an excellent handelling mod for anyone looking to upgrade their stock or slightly modified suspension. Reasonable offers wanted. The other set are HKS Hypermax D's. These are a premium set of coilovers with both heigh and dampening adjust. There is some silly amount of settings available on both fronts and rears concerning dampening and are completely height adjustable. These ride excellent, especially when riding over bumps as the minimum setting is perfect for just normal driving, and the harder settings better for those spirited drives. These are in perfect condition with no leaks anywhere. Only have drive around 5000km's on these so they are almost new. Reasonable offers wanted. PM me or email me @ [email protected]

Tyres are probably the most influencial part of the car in terms of cornering speed, handling, and other related aspects of driving. A powerful car with shit tyres will always get beaten by a less powerful car with far better tyres when it comes to circuit racing. That sed if its only for taking off at the lites...it doesnt make such a huge differnce as it does for cornering... My 32 has 235 on the fronts....255 on the rears.... having coilovers i have already gone thru 1 set of rear tyres in under 10 thousand k's with the original fronts which i bought it with still on there...That sed...i currently have Kuhmo Ecsta's on the fronts....and Hankook K104's on the rear...and within the speed limit (of course) through the hills....The car noticeably understeers due to the intense grip of the rear wheels in comparison to the fronts (being worn aswell as smaller). My two cents worth...

Annoying Rattle From Rear Seats
R32Abuser replied to R32Abuser's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Its like a little alomst continual rattle but is worse over bumps...will take seats out to check everything is sweet....test it....then if any probs let u kno -
Hi all, Lately ive been hear this annoying rattle from my rear seats as if they are not in propoerly (in a R32 Gts-T). Has anyone come across this problem before and knos how to fix it permanently? I kno its the seats as when u push on them when it does make the noise it stops immediately. Cheers, David

sorted it out now...but trying to keeep a lower boost as i dont think the fuel pump is up to the job...and my fuel ratio are already to lean... Cheers for the help phellas....
-
did that wc and ag thing and it was on wc and changed it to ac and i think it has worked..... however i set my warn for 0.80 bar and it still goes off....i was wondering what 0.80 bar would be in psi?
-
Made like 11 psi with tapering back to 9 or so in the higher rpm....however as the fuel pump was f**ked she was running a litle lean....(12.9)......but that was without the boost controller installed when she went on hte dyno......ill check that....but not sure i kno what i am doing....instead of trying to stuff around with it to much...shud i just leave it and just baby it until i get it all tuned and a ne wfuel pump done??
-
I tried moving it to off mode...did that... this but it would still register boost and if i put my foot down it would boost to like 1.3 bar which is not to health for my stock turbo and now im scared if i do try it again it will blow the turbo!!! help!!

Hi all, i have just installed a Blitz DSBC (Silver casing and blue back lit screen). Got it put on the duyno and have found out my fuel pump has had it.... Was driving home today and put my foot down a little and it seemed to do the misfire thing (as this is an Bosch fuel pump that just kacked it) (not sure whether its not flowing enough orhas shat itself) anyway it seemed to do that boxer engine type noise but along with a bit of a "chirpy" type noise as if it wsa coming from the turbo.....Decided to limp it home safely.... Im wondering whether it has been set up with too much boost and its just leaning out with this pump. That sed is someone able to tell me how to setup my boost controller so it runs as little boost as possible..possibly supplying a phone number? Or do you think it may be that from the addition of this controller then boost is coming on stronger than before i.e. more earlier causing a misfire earlier or....???? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers David

Hks Hypermax D's
R32Abuser replied to R32Abuser's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
How much do u think getting just one done would cost? And would u think that all of them could be in similar shape? Thats shit tho hey.... Is there anything else u could recommend? -
Just bought some second hand HKS Hypermax D's.....Ride perfect...feel stiff but not too stiff...HOWEVER....My front Left seems to be knocking....more so when it reaches the TOP of its travel rather than the bottom.....You will be driving and especially over smallish bumps....u will hear it tapping against something whether its in the suspension or in the actual car im unsure of but was hoping soming on here would be of some assistance..... Also....How do you adjust dampaning with these.....just the 19mm bold on the top or???? and its anti-clockwise is it not???

Bump

Hi, Im the one who was asking you about the tein's for sale etc before... and you recommended this group buy. I was wondering.... These are Blistein Adjustables right? How much would it cost for a front and rear set of bilsteins, springs, dust covers, and bump stops. And do you think i could get anywhere near this selling my tein coilovers depending on whether they are HA's or HR's offcourse. Do you think this is a wise move? I kno everyone raves about how good coilovers are, but i just dont see the practicality of having tein coilovers, they are just too damn hard, you get less grip in my opionion no matter where u go...it just breaks traction to easy and i have a set of 255's and 235's on the 32. Its only running like 12psi through a side mount, and with new tyres still manages to spin up quite a bit in first let alone go around corners with not that much power ....this suspension setup should ssee some more "positive" traction shouldnt it? should the amount of roll be almost matchable? Your help would be appreciated... Cheers, David.

Hey here are two pics of the coilovers, i was wondering if any of u suspension experts could confirm what type they are..... About dampening, few wks back i turned the tops of this supsension a little anti clockwise, if i remember correctly, and for two turns or there abouts i thought i could feel a slight difference (marginal but it felt like it was there). This was done using vice grips as there are no "knobs" on the top of the suspension. Would be great if someone could confirm them....as i want to sell them off and get some normal stiff suspension. Cheers, David. Teins.bmp

And what would be the price if they were the height and dampner adjustables
-
How can you tell the difference between HA's and the other ones which are dampening adjustable.?
-
Hi i was wondering what type of tein coilovers the attached picture is, and how much i could get for them on resale. The picture below is the same model i have however are not actually mine (mine are in better condition). I beleive they are dampening adjustable and height as i have wound it out and noticed a softer ride. Also what would be some spring/adjustable shock combinations (i.e. whiteline and bilstein adjust.)? which you could recommend for a fairly hard setup which would be good for a stiff setup (little body roll) yet still fairly decent over bumps in the road. (coming from teins, everything seems like its a much bigger bump than it is) Cheers, David. Teins.bmp

well wat happens...say this arvo...i wound it anti clockwise a turn and a half.....it doesnt click but turns easily... (bit too tight for fingers.... used vice grips)....then hopped in went for a drive and it is a bit softer....but still yet no click..... what do you think?
-
Mmmm they do seem to be rediculessly hard....is there any specific tool which should be used to adjust these pins at the top? Mine do not click it just rotates like a screw thread.... What could this mean? How can you tell whether ur coil overs are in need of reconditioning?? Cheers for the help so far...
