  3. Advan in sydney said they made a bit over 400rwhp with a rb20 that had stock rods and crank, i assume they were preped though.
  4. a mate has a HKS GTRS that has been fully rebuild, and done in japan not here. never been on an engine since rebuild, it basically brand new. hes only after $2400

  9. i hope u have HKS money, what ever you think it will cost doubble it. take advise from guys that have spent the money. as for your mate suggesting the Titanium exhaust, maybe you should sugest he pays for it. Buy parts that will give you power not wank factor. and try looking in the RB20 thread, im sure you will find your answer in there.
  10. yeah i will be putting a pressure gauge in the manifold to measure back pressure during tuning, to much back pressure = heat and heat = damaged head and valves, not what you want when u have spent a lot of money on the head.
  11. hey roy do u have a 10cm rear housing, that i could borrow to see what results i will get compared to my 8cm, been told i will have to much back pressure.

  13. yes this is a great read. if any one ever needs info on rb20 engines and turbo set up this is the place to be.
  14. thats for porting, cc'd chamber, 3 angle valve job, new guides, seals. drill bearings, chem/acid wash block, boring, honing, decking, beam polishing rods, and other stuff. it looks like my TD06-20G will be to small, so turbo and manifold may be for sale soon.
  15. ok just if anyone is interested in doing the internals on there rb20, mine cost me 2.5k just on machining, no parts like arp rod bolts, forgies, cams, etc.

  18. you want need to up grade, the diff centers are strong unless u have a non turbo. if your car was turbo to start with i wouldnt bother with another diff center unless its a 1.5 or 2 way. the diff centers are interchangable, my current 2 way center was in a s13 and now its in my 32. just swap them over but you should get a diff shop to do it so then can set the the gears up right so u dont have to much back lash.

  22. was just wondering if someone know what the compression ratio would be in a rb20 with rb26 crank and rods and standard rb20 pistons.
  23. wicked ive always wahted to get rid of that standard fan and replace with thermos.
