i tried in vain to get my turbo to drop the rear wheel, i wound 2.2 bar into it with my AVCR. it held together and was running 25psi for about 5 months before i up graded. it had a funny wine to it in the end but still worked fine.

lol yes ROY this build has been going on for a while, but ive turned a car i used in a wedding into a drift machine and that takes money. so stay tuned. i was going to do the engine first but decided to start at the rear and work forward. once i start on the engine it will only take a few weeks and it will be back in and making some numbers. I can pretty much promise you it will crack 300rwkw. its just a matter of having the spare time and money.

mmmm yes i have a screamer pipe out of my pro gate. very loud when gate is open and sounds very tuff, but will always attract the fun busters.

Ah yes R&D on a RB20 to make big power is good. makes you use ur brain than just opening your wallet. will make the end result (if all works out lol) more rewarding.

very good thread, i also want to know how to run an engine in properly. is it any different with forged pistons than standard pistons.

Dave its the tail shaft hands down. either its not ballenced properly or its bent. it will eventually flog out the unis and the bearings in the front of the diff and rear of the gear box

ok, im not giving out details on my engine build at this stage as everyone knows its not easy to get 350 - 400rwhp out of a rb20. its more of a chalenge than other motors and thats what i wanted. lets just say the engine is far from stock. just wanted the finer details to make sure everything is right. i just want to do it right hence why i was asking about the rings on the arias pistons. we are all here to help each other out i thought.
