  1. As title says im after a 33 auto box, S1 if that makes any difference, must be in good condition! let me know what you got. Thanks Luke
  2. 4 weeks till i get my license back, ohh its been a long 3 years.
  3. hand held radar guns are not calibrated with proper equipment, they must present a calibration certificate in court to match the serial number on the gun. also the officer that gave out the fine must attend the court if not the fine is thrown out. you can get out of fines/defects you just need to know the law and never tell the officer you will take him to court, but at the end of the day you break the law you pay, if only it was the same for when cops break the law like talking on there phone when driving. fair is fair rules should apply to everyone not rules for us and rules for them.
  4. If you want a leak down test done let pm me i have a shop at oxenford.
  5. HA HA good one Cartman
  6. So so true, only one word comes to mind when you see someting else snapped off in there, F*#K
  7. yeah good question, like most mild metals left uncoated they will rust, touching the steel with sweaty hands will bring the rust on quick. i would say you would get 6-12 months on a exhaust manifold before it rusted again. but if you lived close to salt water that could speed things up. I charge around $40-$50 per broken stud. that's the price if you dont touch it, if you have had a go and cant get it you could be looking at around $60 a stud depending what you have done, and if you have snapped a drill bit or easy out in there as well, expect to pay around $100 a stud. and these prices vairy depending on the access to the stud as well.
  8. was that a question for me. if so sand blasting is a surface preperation. so all depends on if it gets coated or not. generally most people just want the surface cleaned up and thats it.
  9. I thought i would put up some pictures of some of the custom work that i do along with general mechanical work. I should be in my new work shop in early january located at oxenford. Gold Coast. Surge Tanks, alloy steering shaft spacers, Tie rod end spacers, intercooler piping, exhausts, sand blasting, manifold facing.
  10. Here is an example of mild steel that i just sand blasted so everyone can see what rusted steel looks like before and after.
  11. Where are you located Luke. Would cost around $30 for me to sand blast it. normally around $50 for 'non' sau people.
  12. just use the factory fuel pump power wire as the switching power to the relay, and run a new power wire to the relay from the battery, make sure it will carry the correct voltage over the lenght of the wire, the longer it is the more voltage drop due to resistance, the size power cable will depend on how much power the pump will draw so get a nice thick one at lease 2.9mm2 core. earth the relay to body and run power out of relay to pump. The relay packet will show the correct way to wire it up on the terminals. 30AMP relay will do for 1 pump.
  13. The stud you would be talking about would be right in the middle at the bottom, just cut the stud down so there is enough thread left just for the nut, I have use these manifolds and they are not the best, they need a lot of work and then they are ok. they need porting at the head flange a 50mm waste gate pipe and the collector needs a lot of work inside. Also to stop them from cracking add a support bracket off the dump pipe to the bell housing to stop the manifold flexing.
  14. I so need to get my line finished, haven't touched it in 2 months. and missing out on fun
