I have an original 'type m' aero bumper on my r32 gtst and the central air dam goes right up against the radiator support. Therefore, yes, it will require cutting to fit.

R32 Gts-T Rb25 Track Car
Mikha1 replied to Strick.'s topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
That diff looks factory r32 gtst r200 from the outside. I cant confirm from the castings though. Castings generally are not a real good indication in knowing the type, as people tend to change the centres for aftermarket items. Perhaps the most important thing about the diff is knowing the ratio and whether it hooks up both wheels -

Perhaps the most important thing about the diff is knowing the ratio and whether it hooks up both wheels. R33 r200 diffs usually have a different back plate (mostly interchangeable with other nissan diffs), so if it looks like its been resealed recently, there's potential it could be a different diff or perhaps just simply opened up. You should have an orange 'viscous lsd' sticker on the side, which could be covered in dirt -
R32 Gts-T Rb25 Track Car

Yep, looks like a r33 gtst gearbox to me (from the outside at least). I have seen a fair few in my time. If you want to control boost cheaply and reliably, you can throw in a turbotech boost tee in between your actuator and pressure source. The turbo looks like a china 400-500hp job. Depending where they come from, some people have been running them reliably. Others have had disastrous endings. I would replace with a kinugawa or holset for peace of mind. Yes, the tailshaft would have been altered to suit the longer r33 gtst gear box. -
Hi, I have for sale a set of four 'Kyb gear climb' shocks and lowered springs to suit r33 gtst. I havent used them but they appear to be in good usable condition with no leaks. Previous owner pulled them out to upgrade and mentioned they weren't knocking or shot. Rears may suit s14/15 $100 Located west sydney 0401 755 5 one two

Ok, issue has been resolved. I plugged in the ECUtalk and wasnt able to get a speed reading. Still got error code: vehicle speed sensor. I checked the wiring for my speed sensor I made when I did the auto-manual conversion. It turns out they were making contact! After a quick re-arrangement and crimping of new connectors, everything works well again. yay!

Agreed. Whilst it was flavoursome and 'different', it certainly did not match Tetsuya's or even Rockpool for its creativity and wow factor. A good, well priced restaurant is the Bodega at Surry Hills. The steamed milk bun, fish fingers, pork belly, crispy duck are all worth trying.

Ok, so i plugged in the ecutalk again and got an error code. Vehicle speed sensor. I have not yet run the car with ecu talk to check if im able to get a speed reading from the ecu, but that will be my next step and would dictate where i should focus my attention

Ill go with the nut splitter option or go at it with a chisel and a hammer to split it. Have done many a strut top nut with this technique

Hi, I've been having issues lately with my r34 gtt cluster intermittently not working. I.e the speedo, tachometer and heater needles not functioning whilst driving then coming back on randomly after 10 min or so. It started off with a low idle cold start, to which I believe is a coolant temp sensor issue (replacement sensor on order). This was about the same time i noticed the cluster playing up. I noticed the check engine light come on so I tried to plug in ecutalk to check codes but none were shown. Anyone have similar issues? If so, what did you do to resolve this? I will try taking apart the cluster to have a look over the weekend. It's an auto cluster if that matters. Car is converted to manual and ran faultlessly for months The lights for the cluster all remain on and ok. I read somewhere it could be related to alternator not producing 12v or something like that. I havent checked the voltage gauge but i will do that next time. I dont have any trouble starting or anything. Any help appreciated Thanks

Typical R34 Problems Gotten More Advanced

What does code 21 relate to? -
Ok, so I went to Momof*ku Seiobo last night with the missus at The Star Casino. I got the 11 course degustation with half paired wine. The missus got the full juice pairing. Both matched well to our cuisine. Their menu changes daily, but the standouts were: Steamed pork bun with sriracha chilli- very soft and airy bun with a decadent piece of pork and hoi sin sauce Wagyu beef with raddish- nicely cooked with a salted black bean sauce to coat all over Blood sausage with roasted mushroom- Bloody excellent play on flavours here (pun intended) with a flavoursome sauce I forget the rest. If you can justify the $185 per head plus $65 half paired wine, then its a goer.

Assistance With Rb20Det Gearbox
Mikha1 replied to Weaselman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Once the clutch is aligned and it still isnt going in, try turning the crank by hand whilst aligning the box. Also, check the dowel pins are aligning -

Google the speed sensor conversion. I remember seeing a few tutorials regarding s13s and rb20 boxes. The rb20 box will last up to 250kw easily if you arent smashing thru gears Wiring is easy. Just google which does what on the rb25 and correspond it with the sensors on the box. You should have neutral sensor, reverse, and speedo wiring.

Diy R34 Manual Conversion Using R33 Parts
Mikha1 replied to E_Lu-SHuN's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
To answer your questions after doing the conversion myself to my R34: 1) The Auto cross member and mount can be re-used 2) Yes, you can use your auto shifter trim. the shifter should not foul against it. I re-used mine. I bought a new leather gear boot and stapled velcro to the edges. Then I stuck 3m adhesive velcro to the underside of the shifter trim so the shifter boot stuck onto the trim. 3) Yes, you should clean the inside of the bellhousing, as you don't want that stuff in between your clutch. I used a wire brush, water, plenty of degreaser. Alternatively, oven cleaner or JIF could help -

That would be a kouki S14 silvia aero spoiler -
I have personally never seen frp copy aero skirts for er34. Your best bet is to keep an eye out for people wrecking er34's for genuine skirts

Hmm i might be responsible for most of the rubber left on the strip (R34 4dr), as i remember some of the guys telling me i had flicked rubber everywhere, coupled with some incriminating photos of my shredded tyres =/ Thanks to the organisers and those who stayed to clean up. Overall, it was a great day. I'm looking forward to seeing the video. Great photos as well.

Sau Nsw Texikhana - Sunday 16Th March 2014 At Nirimba Tafe
Mikha1 replied to Tats's topic in Events Archive
Great day. Well organised as usual. There were plenty of runs had which was awesome I went through 3 pairs of tyres before 10.30. The rains were an incentive to get back out on the 'get home' tyres
