  1. This guy is a bad trader. He ripped me off for this item. I paid him for it and it didnt turn up. :flamed:
  2. Pic of bottom of 4WD block. the small holes are for the 2WD sump. and the large on the outside are 4WD ones. hope it helps. Gilly
  3. If you are worried about pistons contacting valves just sit your head on with the gasket in place and put a piece of plastacein on your valve and rotate your engine and pull the head off to check the thickness of the plastacein. I am pretty sure it will clear. So if you break a belt It will not damage your engine. Just a thought to give you piece of mind. Gilly
  4. A mate made them on a CNC lathe and mill. They are the last two left out of 16 and they all work perfectly. They are made from 6061 T6 high tensile aluminium and yes anodised ones will last longer but these will certainly outlast the engine. The pistons are made from Brass and will not jam. The springs have less coils but have a heavier gauge wire so they do the same job. All the ones in use at the moment work fine and have done for the last 8 months The only reason I am selling is I want a pair that I can plumb back. And for the price they will not dissapoint.
  5. sorry have no adapters and have no flow figures but they will be the same as turbosmart. and turbosmart adapters will also fit.
  6. Have a Pair of type 2 V port blow off valves for sale. They are brand new polished Turbosmart copies with the only differance being the shape of the screw on cap. Genuine sell for $300 each. Note they are NOT plumback. Internally they are an exact copy and work exactly the same. Asking $175 each May trade with a pair of genuine GTR bov's
  7. I have a 95R33 GTS4 It did have 4 stud hubs and twin piston calipers on the front and single piston on rears. The rotors are smaller and the rears are solid. I have upgraded to the turbo breaks all round. The rear drive shafts are smaller in diameter to the turbo GTS and GTR ones.I have a set of GTST shafts that I will be installing soon they are 3mm bigger in dia. The attessa computer is the same as R33 gtr (the wiring is different between r32 and r33 GTR's. Transfer case is the same and gearbox is as strong however they have different ratios to GTR. It has a clutch set up the same as R32 GTR. The suspension set up is different. The rear struts are the same as GTST and the front is different to both. I tried to put Vspec GTR struts in the front so I could lower it but it stayed the same height (strange) I believe the lower mount for the strut on a GTR sits 40mm lower. I ended up buying bilstein height adjustables :headspin: made to suit. Has a front sway bar but unsure of size (can measure if you want) but had no rear bar at all. I have one from a GTST that will fit but will be using whiteline anyway. The rear of the tailshaft has a universal jount the same as GTST, GTR is different It looks more like a CV. All front shafts are the same as far as I know. The sump is the same. No R33 GTS4 has hicas but from what I have heard it is no great loss anyway (saves on weight). The speedo is the same tacco redlines lower and does not have GTR written on it and the surround is black not carbon look. has a different shape climate control unit to GTR as the 3 centre gauges sit at the top and climate control is in the middle on GTR. I have installed these gauges which meant I had to buy thr GTR climate control as well. The rest of the interiour is GTS. I have an RB30 with forged internals all ready to assemble and go in After I spent a shit load of time making an adapter plate for the 4wd sump to bolt on. :headspin: I bought a pair of Trust TD05H 18G turbos from Advan ready for the manifold to be made. So you can see being NA did not bother me as I would have ditched the standard engine and turbo anyway. As the car only cost me 14k it allows me to spend a shitload on the engine/gearbox/clutch etc. Hopefully I should end up with a 10-11 sec daily driven Skyline for under 40K Hope this info helps. Any other questions send me a pm. Gilly.
  8. WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ACTUALLY SEND ME WHAT I PAID FOR MONKEY. OR AT LEAST REPLY TO MY PM. EITHER SEND ME THE DISC OR GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. YOU CAN REPLY TO ME BY ANSWERING THE PM I SENT TO YOU :kick: BEST REGARDS GILLY.
  9. Have for sale a new never used Garrett GT35R 700hp turbo. Housings are 1.06 and 0.7 and the compressor is polished. Nothing is wrong with it, just doing different project. Was bought from Ray Hall for a RB30 drag car. More info at www.turbofast.com.au. $2200 neg. Ph keith 0408702802
  10. Yes a full write up and test in Zoom 4"pipe1629cfm 4" Magic cat 750cfm 3" pipe 1152cfm 3" supercat 469cfm 3" supercat 524cfm (revised version) As written in Zoom
  11. dnb My block is the same as yours and it has all the oil and water lines tapped aswell. I have already had it Torqueplate bored, honed and o'ringed so I was thinking of making a washer the right shape and fill around it with devcon (steel putty) and file it back level with the other surfaces. I have bought a second tensioner instead of the idler. I also have to make an adopter plate to fit a 4wd sump as it will be going into a GTS4.
  12. Some other brands do make higher lift than Tomei for GTST Might be worth looking at.
  13. Can someone clear this up for me. the highest lift (hydrolic)for the RB25 is 8.9 advertised and 8.9 actual which is how much the valve itself moves with full oil pressure. then wouldnt this be equivelent to a 9.3 advertised on a GTR with 0.4 valve clearance. On a GTR with say..9.3 advertised lift then the valve will only move 8.9 as the valve wont move until it takes up the clearance between the lifter and the cam. When you read the Tomei cam spec for GTR the actual is always 0.4 lower than advertised and GTST advertised and actual are the same. The valve clearances for GTR inlet are .45 cold or .51 warm so am I also correct in saying the GTR will have even less lift when hot. This is my understanding please let me know if I am wrong.
  14. I take it you mean RB30 with 25vvt head. If so and you realy want to rev it to 8500 then you will need heavier springs and some big cams. Ime not sure how long the standard lifters will last but tomei suggest that over 8.5mm lift should have solid conversion. tomei's procams have the higher profile cams, lifters and springs to convert to solid however the springs and lifters alone will be more than$1200 but then they also need longer valves to be fitted which would cost another $1000 plus fitting. another thing is the procams have a smaller base diameter so the head does not have to be machined for the higher lift. If you use GTR poncams then you will loose your vvt. All this said it would be easier and cheaper to either buy a GTR head or keep your cams under 8.5mm lift, keep your hyd lifters and buy heavier springs. You should be able to get 350+rwkw with no more than 7500rpm on a RB30DET.
