  1. New ARD Alternator cheaper option Just sighted on rhdjapan.com website a cheaper option for Alternator replacement for Skyline & Stagea ARD Custom power up Alternator 150amp / AU $ 416.54 is a lot cheaper than Advance Alternator.
  2. Charcoal canister still connected
  3. not uncommon to backfire under Deceleration my S2 does occasionally when slowing down
  4. Tried cleaning the MAF ? CRC MAF cleaner is the best for that.
  5. Backfire under acceleration or deceleration ?
  6. Dirty maf can cause rough idle try to clean Maf with CRC MAF cleaner in case of a build up of dirt on wires in MAF
  7. What heat range are your plugs and what gap? how much boost are you running? No vacuum leaks ?
  8. Cool My Knock sensor count climbs in hot weather at low rpms and boost is reduced but when its cool like today count is 0 and boost kicks like a mule and car breaks traction in 1st , 2nd & 3rd.
  9. Do you have way to view your knock sensor info high count can suggest not enough fuel.
  10. Noticed one of your posts where you posted a picture on another subject , your still running stock Fuel regulator an adjustable regulator might be a good idea if your going to run high boost setting.
  11. What condition is your electrical system e.g. Alternator output as RB's can suffer voltage drop at mid to high rpm's type of plugs can make a difference some are better than others if it is a voltage drop. Check out ADVANCE alternators 150amp as a solution on www.rhdjapan.com they are about $950.00 to $980.00 plus freight. where does your cold air induction feed from e.g. bonnet, front bar, behind headlight, or intake catch above radiator? Heat shield between pod filters and engine can help create a cool zone for air pick up.
  12. I would like to wish everybody here a safe & Merry Christmas
  13. 60,000km on my NPC button clutch and still going strong no slippage
  14. If you ever think your coils are part of your problem you can check this by wrapping a good quality insulation tape around coils about 3 layers should be sufficient If problem then improves I would say you could have bad coils and should be replaced as well.
