When I had probs with battery in my R33 GTST I jumped it with only a 400a starter kit if you jump start do it from terminals in engine bay on right side of car front terminal positive ( there are 2 positive terminals ) Negative on earth strut at back of box this will give you direct feed to the starter motor for maximum current when starting

I replaced my alternator in my r33 GTST because I was suffering from a voltage drop when it heats up have put in a RH9 Hyper alternator 130A from RHD Japan according to them the after market alternators they sell are all the same for RB,SR motors plus 50A more current for all extra mods including Audio systems,high volume fuel pumps, high voltage coils etc

  4. thanks for the tip with the coils has fixed problem at moment have ordered new spitfire coils should be here by next week
  5. in regards to your first problem just had same problem with my r33 missing & breaking down under hard acceleration found scorch marks on coils from shorting out have taped coils up with good quality Nitto electrical tap about 5 to 6 layers thick is temp fix until new coils arrive but power returned straight away
  6. hi mate I am currently using an NPC metal button clutch in R33 GTST with 276rwkw according to NPC clutch should be good to 650hp +

Guys I Have an Active LSD in my R33 GTST series 2 and you get a very aggressive tank slap affect especially in the wet changing tyre tread pattern to a V grove seems to help keep traction on free wheel LH side so when LSD kicks its not so hard to control with power on . near impossible to slide car on dry road with good quality tyres when cornering.
  8. what is the widest tyre I could run on rear of r33 GTST currently running 235/40/r18 all round Diameter 18" inch width 8.5 " inch not sure of offset
  9. I have a 1996 GTST putting out 276rwkw aiming to get it to 340+ rwkw using NPC metal button clutch ,engagement of clutch is quite aggressive been advised by NPC it should handle 650+ Hp

  11. that sound just like the problem I've got with my r33 on closer look also found we were getting a voltage drop at alternator replacing with RH9 hyper Alternator 130A have been told we could be putting to much load on alternator with extra electronics, will try your fix for coils tho before ordering new coils
