Who Has Actually Upgraded Their R32 Gtr Brakes
TurboX replied to SIR032GTR's topic in South Australia
JIC's?? I asked RaceBrakes the other day about replacing the lines with braided but they seem to think that the special type are not available? Something about 2 braided piece with metal middle? I have DBA slotted already and good pads wyhich are a great improvement but would like braided lines. Any hints? PS GTS4 - sim GTR. -
Could not believe it on New years eve when just coincidently following a white R34 in my R32, we come round a corner in St Kilda and the cop on the Mobile RBT let us both pass by with no one in the gates then pulled in the Holden behind me !! Thought we would be both picked for sure, although I had nothing to drink.

Yes thats very technical and what I did not bother to say as its irelevant really. The fact is that transmitting antenna is within a few mm from your brain. You just keep using yours like there is no tommorrow and there may not be.

Guy's its caused by your MOBILE PHONE!! You have been using more lately cause its Xmas and your ringing your mum etc etc. SERIOUSLY!! In case you dont realise, it transmits RF power up near the same frequency that your microwave does that heats stuff! Yeah I know its safe and proven by world experts to not be able to effect you etc etc - BUT its BULL! Who is going to be first to admit that one of the worlds greatest profit makers could adversley affect anyone? NOT a Govt that owns Telstra anyway. If you want to know why I may? have any credibility see my website here:- http://www.cqdx11.com

Ever seen a variable valve timing cam setup in any original R32 GTR RB26? People that write this stuff for a living should do more research...

You can also clean the sensor with carby cleaner as on here if you SEARCH, but I have always used metho and a gas lighter to burn it clean and it always worked ok afterwards,

OHHH... Thanks very muchly, I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Your probably not old enough anyway to appreciate it! StarionTurbo would at least agree with me. (I hope;-)

Wat Do The Stock Injectors Max Out At
TurboX replied to cuong nguyen's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
As SK says... But you could replace your fuel filter and feed your fuel pump with better current capacity (larger) wiring and fit a rising rate FPR -Fuel press reg. and adj with some tuning on a dyno would be a good idea. -
You guy's wear bowling hats?...

My sig says it all...

Same happened to me yesterday - put your hand on the pullys of the ALt and Steering pump etc when MOTOR OFF and you will soon feel which pully is slipping from the temp, near burnt my hand on Alt pully. Sure enough belt a bit loose but not imeadiately obvious. I loosened it right off first to check it was not the bearings though, then tiightened up.

I just saved my money to get BF2142 working with a new $99 512 8x AGP and saved heaps!! BUT it does not work that well as I should have known! SO dont make THAT mistake. Pay a bit more to get what you REALLY need.

If We Cool The Fuel Down Will We Get More Econ + Pwr
TurboX replied to jetpilot's topic in General Maintenance
I do know back about 50 yearas they used to make a metal gasket that went on the head between the intake and exhaust (same Side back then) with some bars going ascross the air and exhaust flow to transfer heat into the already fueled airflow that gave 20% more mileage. Not dsure about power though, it was for economy. -

This is mine set up on the dash. You can see most of all the dash displays etc and its not distracting because the ECU display is not bright but perfectly readable. The cables can be tucked neatly under the ledge into the steering column cavity and through the inside of the dash so are not untidy and the RS232 plug can reach through to the pas seat to a laptop OK. I only used a small pad of velcro at each end as its so strong and makes the unit hard to remove if you use the full length. The photo is chopped tthough as the flash was stuffing it up. An extremely handy device but I still am not sure what values I should be seeing at initial power on and then at idle etc. Peter can you list some typical values of all sensors?

Well upgraded my Graphics card and found that the game will load and play. Specs Below if interested. PLAY??? well if you count playing like in a dream moving through honey in slow motion. A317316 (nic - my ex service #) sure took a lot of lead the first and last game. Oh well at least Tribes2 plays a bit better now at 40FPS Why do I bother trying to find a replacement to T2?? Its probably like owning a Mines R34GT-R Nur Spec and think you will be happier in a Porsche, NOT! Boring bit:= **EDITED OUT*** EasyInfo 2 Electronic Arts System Information Utility, Easy Info.

2006 Christmas Charity Cruise In Aid Of Tlc For Kids
TurboX replied to sab's topic in Archived Events
I would just like to point out that UHF CB #31 is a Duplex Repeater input if you were not aware of this. In other words all transmissions on that channel are retransmitted via any CH#1/31 Repeater in range out on CH# 1. This also stands for CH#2-#8 (Input from #32-#38) In the interests of reasonable radio procedure I would suggest use of non duplex (simplex) channels between 12-20 0r 23-30 which dont include repeaters or restricted channels (#21-#22) I know your probably not pumping out 25W (more like .25W;-) but you would be surprised how far a UHF signal of any power can go! Like try 5W from Mt William to Mt BawBaw - quite a few kays ;-) </FreqFacist> -
Thanks Bec, yes I know its there, but not here:- SAU Calendar just wondering why its not used as easier to access??

Its drivable at last, so I will be there also. PS. How come this and other fixed events are not listed in the SAU Forum Calendar??

I just recently bought this after looking for something to replace or at least equal Tribes2. Have not played BF2 so hopefully when I eventually get it going I will like it. Just blackscreens and reverts back to desktop. My CPU is P4 1.7 Xeon but lists as 1.69 and a Exclamation mark in diag. 1 Gb RAM and 128Mb VGA seems OK to diag. I suspect it is starting in a resolution that my graphics cant handle or something?? Even on Tribes2 I have everything turned down and its five years old! I know I shoul buy a decent computer or new grapics card but that would make it harder to mod the Skyline

If your are interested here is a xls file of raw data and graphs from Newkleers LCD Box and NissanDataScan software that I did the other day trying to sort out some problems. It shows the timing cut and change from first to second at near 7000RPM. The Auto has been modded with a firmer shift plate and Kevlar clutches, 2800RPM stall etc. BTW this is with ECU ERROR 34 - Knock Sensor showing all the time. Can anyone tell me the implications of this error on the ECU maps and general operation of the engine under this fault condition?
