I bought this fully motorised turbo game chair for the grand kids to have some fun driving games or flying simulators. Yeah Riiiiight... Went to my dentist a while back and noticed he had upgraded all his chairs. Asked what happened to the old ones? "Out the back, do you want one?" Did I ever, I have been looking for a similar type of games set up for ages so made a ridiculous offer of 200 for something he paid over 10 thousand for a few years ago. SOLD,- the deal of the decade! Modified it immediately with a strong monitor arm to support the monitor and steering wheel setup. The pedals fitted perfectly in the right place and it is able to be pnumaticly adjusted in all directions with the touch of a switch bank. Pulled the back padding assy off and mounted some Aura Interactor special effects speakers that vibrate the hell out of you when playing most games. Pauline loves it, she would love to get on to it with an axe!! Well can't win them all.

Air Filter Mounted In Direct Air Flow On Front Bar
TurboX replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Noticed this on the Dyno at Dr. Drift with my CAI - had to reposition the DynoFAN to stop it causing problems. Never considered the on road effects before..... -
Happy B'day Bec, from another Libran. I will let you drink my share as well so you dont feel like your overdoing it!

Drilling and tapping some 8mm holes and puting a puller on some bolts in there worked for my RB20. Reused it as well as should still be OK.

Hey Gary, sorry was not able to catch up with you, but did not spot anyone with an SAU logo on. Thought about wearing mine but may not have been healthy to do so with all those falcodoor fans around half cut up on the mountain. Lying in the campervan trying to go to sleep amongst the continual KER-THUMP of explosions close by was an experience not to be missed and probably similar to what it would have been like if I had made it to Vietnam with the RAAF in '69! Was a great weekend except for the tragic crash that reminded us its still a sport not to be taken lightly. Did buy a T-Shirt though,.. it says "HEMI"!!

TRU-TRACK is the GO, BUT Ralph does own a WRX! Dont hold that against him though as other than that, he knows what he is doing on GTR's!

Will take it.

Pluged it in and it said cant connect to ECU! Damn I thought, just my luck. Then remembered the LCD / Laptop Switch! WORKS WELL!! Diagnosed my problem with IGN and Knock signals faulty so need to track through the wiring. Was OK before pulling the motor recently so must have broken a heat stressed cable wire somewhere in the loom. Also noticed my TPS only goes to 85% at flat throttle so prob need to adj it on the Throttle body so it goes to 100% ? anyone?

Hope its not what I had happen to my RB20 -sounds similar - Big ends 3&5, found rear oil pump screws nearly all out after strip down. Ignored fluctuating oil press guage as sender fault that is common, but my oil pressure was screwed most of the time. Get your oil pressure checked...

Tram would be quicker

Should A Boost Gauge Read Zero When Not Connected
TurboX replied to Howie's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The pic shows where it would be with maybe 2000rpm or not connected. It should be down much lower at idle but not sure at what number on your car. -
Should A Boost Gauge Read Zero When Not Connected
TurboX replied to Howie's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
??? On idle you have manifold VACUUM. If you Boost gauge starts its numbers at 0 then it should read 0 at idle! If your gauge starts at - something it should read the idle vacuum, mine says about -20PSI (Mazda Familiar GTX) Rev slightly and it goes from -20 to 0 then on to whatever boost I make when reving past 2000. -
Revhead you are 100% right and we all know it. RANT BUT, the problem is it will continue to happen that way as we are all to apathetic to do anything about it by letting the politicians know how we feel and we ARE going to do something about it at the next election. (SOON) The revolution of the internet forum will have the the single biggest impact on the way politicians think and act in the coming years if my hunch is right. Finally all us motoring enthusiasts/drivers will start to make a groundswell of change across the country against all the stupid retoric (SPEED KILLS!) Etc. and insane roadlaws that just exist to fill government coffers with money they can use on grants to artist friends and other irelevant wastage. The problem in the past has been we have been in an insular environment to some degree when it comes to all getting our heads together on this roadlaws issue, but this is rapidly changing. Only recently has it been posible to now converse with hundreds or even thousands of like minded individuals on this matter across many automotive enthusiast forums. Imagine the actual numbers of enthusiasts that are congregating on all the variuos forums out there today ( I see at least 300 EVERY DAY on SAU) that could make a difference to the way the politicians think if we all got together on a single subject crusade like roadlaws. NO, maybe I am wrong! You all let the anti-hoon laws go thru! What so I do a burnout and loose my car?(Unlikely as its AWD Auto RB20;-) What did that twice convicted Drunk driver get fined the other day?! I would be willing to bet there are more people on here likely to do a burnout than get convicted a few times for drunk driving. So once again the very low number of dangerous drunk driving cretins get let off with a slap on the wrist and the far larger group of burnout artists have the chance of loosing their car valued at many thousands now able to be confiscated!? Guys I am over 50 so its unlikely I will be done for burnouts ( as I said its an Auto AWD RB20 and I would if I could;-) BUT, you could be!! I dont condone stupid behaviour on the roads but have been guilty of it in my younger days, but you dont need to be doing something stupid to get yourself killed on the road! (RIP Brocky) Let the "FORCE of the FORUM" be with us for the future sanity in some of these ridiculous laws being passed by fools that run this country. /RANT

This RB20 would need serious Anti-Lag with that Turbo and the short runner manifold! I would be interested in the boost/RPM response as it would not be too good on the street. Serious RWHP though! Awesome thru all four

AWSOME! Great job by all concerned, but why does Team Wang discriminate against Miss_Juz!

Thinking Of Buying A J31 Nissan Maxima
TurboX replied to gel's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeah, I can relate to your thinking except for the "no more imports" ?? Please explain?;-) -
Having just gone thru all the drama of rebuilding my GTS$, I would be definately checking the actual pressure with a new good mechanical gauge. I spun 2 bearings thinking it was the common gauge sender fault, although the clattering noise was a bit of a giveaway Eventually found screws at back of oil pump had come all way out and impossible to get to unless you take of the pump or the sump and on a GTS4 thats not easy to do!

The original loom plugs will not go straight onto the RX7 sockets - you have to cut out the small plastic guide -easy More here: http://www.turboclub.com/turbocars/nissan/...4_InjectUp2.htm

See that SEARCH Button up top? Its your best friend on this forum, as there is SO MUCH INFO in posts here that has answered your question a hundred times over. And to be honest that is a pretty open ended question depending on your starting point or more specific, what engine/chassis combo.
