Not sure if anyone's mentioned this coz I didn't wanna read 3 pages but... I found this site with the FULL kit to turbo the V35 engine... The kit comes with turbo(s), manifolds, dump/front pipes, exhaust, ecu, injectors, fuel pump, air filter(s), bov, all fittings and hardware and instructions for installation... Kits are from $4700 - $9000 but I think it is probably in US$ which isn't that bad anyway since the exchange rate is pretty good these days. http://www.turbo-kits.com/350Z_turbo_kits.html

But the point is they MIGHT do their job properly and fully inspect the car. Can't guarantee they'll only look at the fine as they're supposed to check the entire car over. So glad I didn't get sent to pits when I got defected. I just had to clear them with a police officer. Just goes to show how qld police just make shit up as they go hey.

Cheers for the info. Basically the car has aftermarket turbos, injectors, computer, air filters, bonnet, front bar, front fenders, sideskirts, rear pods, exhaust, wheels, front and passenger seats, suspension etc. How much for compliance for this? Model is 1997 R33 GTR.. Rough quote will be fine.

Hey, Thinking of importing a modified R33 GTR but I'm just wondering whether it will be able to be complied easily or not. The cars I'm looking at have been rebuilt using forged pistons etc, have pretty much everything aftermarket to the engine possible as well as some aftermarket body parts... All aftermarket parts have to be removed yeah? So what sorta costs are involved to get something like that complied? What parts would they allow to slip through and what would they crack down on? Sorry guys yeah sideskirts are actually Vertex. Selling the car due to wanting V35 350GT. Just after something new and a little bit different/less heat! If you have a 350GT, 6 speed manual I might trade...

Nah not sure who they are but there is a billion 33's in rocky... Not bad for a population of 60,000 Next benaraby is Friday 23rd May. Scrutineering is 5pm-7pm; racing 6pm-10pm. I should hopefully be at this one in 4WD FINALLY!!!!! So yeah mate come down check it out. Costs about 50$ to race including ya insurance. Just need a helmet(adr approved), long sleeve shirt, long pants and covered in shoes. Hope to see you there

Yeah which just goes to show that the reason they own skylines is to look rad and pik up da chix fuly sik bro lolz. Next one is 11th May. Not sure if my car is going to make it sadly, since it seems the gearbox may be f'd along with the 4WD... Might be in there a bit longer than I hoped.

Yeah there is a surprising amount of skylines in rocky. Especially R33's. Shoulda stayed til Sunday as we're having a cruise down to yeppoon sunday lunchtime... Dynamix if ya keen, meeting at BP at 1pm and leaving 1:15 to head down the beach. All welcome and I think we'll have a few nice cars heading down including Granthem's R34, a type x 180, possibly a supra, pulsar turbo and a few others...

Probably because I had wheelspin for half the track... All through first and second. I'm sure with some kinda slicks or even in 4WD, it will be quite a bit higher. Currently fixing the 4WD problem and will head out to the track next month hopefully.

Yep ^^^. But in saying that, it has copied all the nice ones lol. Can't argue with 3 sec 0-100. EDIT: Also can't argue with the 18" X 13.5" alloys and Pirelli 335/40/18 tyres on the rear....That's unreal.
