  1. Top Gear Aus won't last more than 1 or 2 seasons. Unless they get different presenters. Those 3 couldn't be trying harder to be like the UK presenters. It's embarrassing. And that episode the other week with the hearse wasn't funny.
  2. Price dropped to $26,500 for sau members. Still on carsales at original price. Be quick.
  3. Plenty of interest, no cash!!!!! Open to offers.
  4. Got to go. Negotiable on price...
  5. F*ck that mate. Friend just got a $30000 S2000 insured for alot less than that and he's on his p's. My advice is to wait til you're off your p's and by then you'll be able to afford a R34 GTR! Buy a barina.
  6. It'll only leak at the joins but every car has that. As for the cooler air flow causing lag, we're talking about mostly V8's that do this setup not skylines. Obviously its dumb to set it up on a skyline but you wouldn't need to. A big v8 needs the lag so it doesn't smash tyres. Get the v8 going then boost, can't beat that.
  7. Nice pics/car GTRKat. White 32's FTW
  8. Vertex mate. BTW, nice car.
  9. How does it defeat the purpose? The car is still turbocharged...
  10. Shit that's a great pic mate. If you know the program they've used to edit it could you please pm me the name... Nice car too of course lol. Cheers.
  11. And I've actually heard from a friend who did that setup on his VS V8 commy that it can be beneficial as the air that passes through the turbo is alot cooler when it goes through since its got that extra distance to travel. Not too sure on the validity of this point but it kinda makes sense...
  12. Yeah I wasn't really expecting to pay 180$ for one lol. I'm happy to go badgeless than pay nissan australia that much. I'll check the sites mentioned just to check their prices but looks like I'll stay away from ebay. Thanks for ya help guys. Appreciated. EDIT: Checked sites for anyone interested. $95 from justjap, power play doesn't seem to have them or at least I couldn't find it, couldn't find it either on unique auto sports, rhdjapan.com has them for $75USD. also carmate has some others like hks or apexi etc.
  13. Oh true shit. That's crazy, I didn't know that. I wonder how the ebay ones are then...?
  14. Hey, I'm looking to get a GTR badge for my 32 because its been de-badged. My friend said to make sure I get the R34 ones coz they look better apparently. Can anyone help me with a vin or something to source them through nissan? If not, does anyone know where I can get one or have one they don't want? Also, how much are they? I've also looked on ebay for them but they are probably dodgy. If anyones had any experience with them off ebay (good or bad) let me know. Cheers in advance, Chris.
  15. Now on carsales, just use my no. plate to search.
  16. Good beer indeed. Adriano has a point. I got a hks t45s that is a lowmount. (which is one of hks' first big turbos, similar size to a t78 I think) Which brings the question "is a highmount really necessary for most vehicles?".... To answer original question though, tiny high mount turbos are like showing off a small penis definitely.
  17. Unbelievable machine mate but its getting hard to sell these cars these days. GL with your sale. Must be a real weapon!
  18. Looking good drift_barbie. Looks like it'll be a weapon at the track
  19. Rekin, looks tops mate I can't see what you're worried about from those pics. Paint looks pretty good.
  20. Couldn't see it in your ad, so are they just standard turbos?? Nice car. GL with sale.
