  1. Can they even bring those things over to Canada? I highly doubt it, they have as much protection as us do and then some. Expect to pocket 1.4mil to 2.2mil JPY FOB depending on condition and spec.
  2. Speak to an accountant about any potential tax breaks or pitfalls and to your HR Dept to see who they will use for lease. For example, my employer will not use anyone else besides CBFC and I even got Prosperion to speak to them, that still doesn't fix them up
  3. Like the saying, each to their own..... Keeping a GTR alive isn't as expensive as they rumoured to be but it does take a lot of time a week to maintain them in excellent running order. Or maybe it's just me being a pedantic fussy bastard I dissect the damn whale every weekend to make sure it doesn't shit itself even when I only drive it 3 days a week. In fact I've only driven it once this week.
  4. homer2288: different design rules we've got here than the rest of the world, in fact it's pretty much unique that's half the reason why our roads is somewhat safer. Heard from a semi-reliable source that one engineer's evidence will include the Xenon headlights in future so they might not need to be replaced/disabled/crushed/whatever in order to get past compliance.
  5. I'll second Prosperion - great fellas to get something from and they're proactive rather than cold hard sell their service. The only catch with them is the car must be less than 8 years old at the end of the term ie only R34 GTR can be leased now as all the R33's kinda too old. Back to the topic, just work hard, spend your cash wisely and try live at home so you can leech off your parents LOL
  6. Under $100 or could stretch another $10-20 depending on the headunit in question. PM me if you have anything within this price range thanks No preference in brand but none of those "Sound Extreme" or el cheapo Supercheap specials please.
  7. Have anyone replaced them so far? How big is the job or it's better off leave this mess for someone else to sort out? Right now the offside rear wheel making a shitload of noise between 60-90km/h but it's gone after a while. Something similar is happening to the nearside front wheel between 40-70km/h. Could it be anything else besides the wheel bearing that's packed in? Thanks fellas.
  8. Yeah it turns out to be a pretty damn big screw with a washer - cost me $2.05 from my local Nissan dealer....if the guy was willing to show me the damn thing before i paid for it, I'd probably just rock down to Bunnings or Mitre 10 and get that for 1/3 of the price! At least the thing isn't about to fly outta its spot any time soon so I'm one happy chap.
  9. Thanks Geoff, looks like I might pull the rotors and pads off and get it treated. Some yanks swears by treating the pads and rotors, I am bit of a cynic so I'd go out and try to prove my point.
  10. Hello folks, This is what I am after - 1. RB26 spark plug cover/the bits that goes in between the 2 cam covers on either side. 2. R33 driver's side A-pillar cover (my one got holes all over it..fugly) 3. Air/oil separator - any kind considered 4. Head unit mount (?) Thanks heaps.
  11. Can you cyro some used metal bits or it has to be new in order to get the benefits?
  12. FYI for the WRX's, the sway bar mount is known to bust after a while and some workshops such as NRG made an exchange part to replace/repair it. I know it's off-topic but may be useful to you guys.
  13. What exactly is wrong with your car?
  14. Hehe, read my nick - "go_nuts" I just went nuts last night when I flied thru a speed hump (oops) and my mate that sit on the back said "your console is flying too"..I just went out and check, no it doesn't looks like a screw as it's long-ish oval shaped. I've just tried sticking in screws there and they don't really wanna stay at all. Maybe I gotta pull FAST out and work out the part number for it and get it from Nissan.
  15. (Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section but there isn't a sub-forum for interior so I guess this should suffice. Feel free to move it elsewhere mods if you think there's somewhere else more appropriate for this). Just got my R33 back from compliance and I've noticed there's something missing - on the back of the center console, on each side there is a fastener/screw/whatever to secure the center console from its place. At the moment it's disappeared. Now my question is, does anyone know what's suppose to be there and besides getting a replacement from Nissan, does anyone knows where else I could get it? At the moment whenever I go thru a rather large speed hump, the whole console jumps as well and it's annoying. Don't tell me to go back to the compliance workshop and argue as I have done just that with no results. Sorry for the rather long-ish post but any help appreciated. Thanks
  16. Any ideas how to install it?

    Visiting Tokyo

No idea where I'll be staying exactlty - I am just tagging along my relatives and sleep on the floor in their room. I am assuming it's in the central area? You reckon Up Garage is a safe bet? I know they're big but Engrish is a limited sorta thing for those guys..

    Visiting Tokyo

Hello guys, I've used the search function but nothing came up I'll be visiting Tokyo next week and I was wondering are there any places you can buy parts (new or second hand, doesn't bother me) and doesn't have to speak Japanese plus within reach of the railway system? Thanks heaps, Scotty
