  1. Wholy Fck Dude this was my old r33, the guy u bought it off swapped me a bmw for it!! i am so worried about these theft goign on in brisbane now! its like its only a matter of time!!! Pm me pleas eif any info comes up about it ok!

  4. Im in the same boat i want a EBC. I have a maul bleed valve at the moment and for me it holds boost just fine? What advantages will i get from a ebc if i only drive on one boost setting any way? Cheers

  6. Havent got ot taking pics yet, it looks the same ans any other hks pod filter, Has no oil stains or anyhting , filter is ready to be bolted up. The adabtor fits rb25det i dont know what else it fits, u can get other adaoptors of course.

  9. Yeah mate, Seel the n/a might get 6-10k dpeending and then u could buy a turbo with some goddies liek wheels and other extras for about 13-18k shopping around. Money far better spent, doing the conversion will cost u a shite load cause u will have to just about changed everything from fuel system,engine, computer, brakes, intercooler, also i htink the n/a has different diff maybe. even after that it still is not a gtst.

  11. Hi guys i have a bonnet vint i want get moulded wiht fibre glass into my stock r33 bonnet. Is there any one in Brisbane area with these skills who can do a back yard job for me? it does not need to get painted as the car will be getting a respray in a coupe of months. PLease pm me if u think u migh tbe able to perform this taks . cheers

  13. It seems to be a bit of a partern, i reckon there is a organised group who are doing htis, always see nissans stolen and always aroudn the gold coast. i could crush the scum who do this if i had a chance. hope it all works out mate.

  17. Yeah a tutorial would be good, too much ambigous information in net forums regard catch can installs. I hope i havent damaged the egine internally. it is making that noise still at idle and its definenetly in the engine not the pullys.
  18. yes the dip stick is still there and did not pop out. Noise seems to have gone down now and the can is hooked up correctly. I did search this forum extensivley- There is so much conflicting info on how ot install them and no clear way. The actual can came with very vague instructios. SLIMVLT- do u know what out comes these symptoms havE?
  19. Just adding- you would htink it would blow the dip stick before anyhting else? but not so in this case.
  20. Hi guys, I bought a cheap catch can similar to the d1 or jspec cheapies with out a breather. I left it up to a friend to intall it for me. On my RB25DET he sealed off the pcv to the inlet pipe before turbo, left the pcv valve and line from the side of the rocker cover to the inlet plenumm. the two rocker cover out lets he conntected to the catch can. This basically sealed in all crank case presure. I drove the car away after a few minutes a huge cloud of white smoke came out behind me while driving. i pulled over noticed the incorrect set up. It built up enough pressure that when i open the oil filler it was make a psssht noise releasing the pressure(while engine running). i took the car home and put it all back to standard. However i now have a squeek noise from the front of the engine. It sounds like a faint squeeky belt. I notice this got louder when the engine could not breathe with the incorrect can set up. What could i have damaged from too much pressure build up? i am guessing the cloud of white smoke was oil being passed thru the turbo seals, after i returned it to normal it is no longer blowing any white smoke. The squeek noise wont go away and i think it may have casued some internal damamge? any ideas what it could have done? The car still runs fine other wise.
  21. make sure u got the arrow on the Boost controler around the right way , it will be in the manual. cant remember from memory

The hose to the waste gate actuator on the turbo is right but is the other end T'ee peiced into ur canister line?? it should go directly to a nipple on one of hte intake pipes, looks like u have a aftermarket pipe which mihgt not have it , basically it needs to be in a presurised section o fhte pipe work. the boost controler bleeds air to make the waste gate actuator htink there is less pressur and not opening hte waste gate allowing u to make more boost.

  24. Hi guys, I have just purchased my second r33 turbo. The fisrt one had every problem you could think of so i am acustomed to the world of skyline with problems. I have this stragne problem. my r33 has a dual stage turboXS boost control with swithc in cabin, podfilter, zorst and forged aftermarket pistons, GFB dual BOV . When i florr it on low boost 7psi it revs out first strong then hit secodn and it dies in the sarse, the car has no pick up and o nthe boost guage it does not seem to be baking boost. Now the same thing in high boost and it goes hard as it should. I took apart the first stage of the boost contorler and their is no problem with that, the bov is calibrated fine. I am guessin git has something to do with the turbo? maybe a sticky waste gate flapp? any ideas guys?
