there is another thread that looked into this with pics. cheapest i think i have seen them on ebay is like $270 plus$80 shipping or there abouts. some places sell them for more. They are not as good a finish as a genuine greddy. For the money vs performance gain id choose the copy.

Hey guys, i scored a HKC electonic boostcontroller, the EVC2. Does any one know where i can get a 12v power souce from in the engine bay to power it from? ALl it nees is a power and earth wire and the rest is just plumbing. Thanks in advance.

Yep i thoroughly checked the tire, no punchure repair marks , they loked fresh as. I tak eit they are a quality tyre as the guy said htey where near top of the line michelins, i have no idea how good tho bu tthey look the goods

Well i had to give treads international a second chance because none of my local tyre retailers had seconds. I ended up gettgin michelin pilot sports wiht 99% tread, nipples just worn off. Cost me $90 a tyre which isnt too bad considering the condition and price they would cost new. Personally i was after someing with %60+ tread for $50 but thats ok least i got some thing.

Check your power steering fluid level is ok. Other than that might be a belt or the powersteering moter, best to go to a mechanic then.

A mate of mine had one venting ot atmo years back on a r33, never heard it under full force tho. Arent these very illeagle?

Hey Brett, the justsr metal intakes for rb25 wont fit the stock airbox or even the aftermarket pod filter box that u can buy off these forums. Im going to see a steel fabrication place about making me a pipe that will let me use a aftermarket airbox for the pod.

What benifit to the running of the car will removing a carbon canistor have? i notice in the threat "DIY 13.5 for stockish r33" it also mentions removal of the canister??

Yep tires with about70% tread for about$50-$70 bucks as apposed to new tires for $200+ . I get more use for money value out of second hand and normally if i go second hand i get a higer performance tyre that i could have afforded new any ways.

Thanks for the recommendation in the first place pear, it was just my bad luck and akward timing i guess. If he had no intention of turning up he should have jsust said so or at least had the courtesy to answer his phone and give me a bullship story. But any ways i decided i will try and get interest free on some dished apec wheels &tyre package. If that doesnt happen ill try the place at slacks creek and maybe Tyres internation again as a absolute last choice. Cheers guys.

Well i drive 1 hour from the westernsuburbs to clontarfe. Called first told the guy id be there in a hour will meet up at the shop (on saturday) Get to shop person not there. Try calling mobide 5 times no answer wait for 2 hours no one turns up. In my books that is unforgivable. IF YOUR NOT GOING TO BE THERE JUST SAY U ARE NOT INSTEAD OF LYING AND NOT TURNING UP! I am veyr dissappointed and will never have a good thing to say about them.

Hi guys, I have always bought second hand tyres for my r33. I have done some ringing around and they dont seem to be as easy to come buy as they used to be? deoes any one know if there are any tyre shops that may have seconds in a 18 inch? Cheers.

Hmm must be something to do with how ur intake return pipes are. I don thave any hunting issues now i have secured a decent BOV return and iol breather return. Id say thats wherer the problem lies.

Hi Kennedy, From what i know the PFC controls this as good as or better than the SAFC. I dont know how to tune one or what its called on a PFC as i have not yet had the opportunity to use one. I would think a PFC would have a much more wholesome method of controlling 'dec air' settings as well as other engine conditions. If your having trouble with that metal intake pipe causeing stalling maybe try getting ur pfc tuned and emphasise to the tuner why. I had constant stalling issues after installing the metal intake pipe. I installed it corectly and have no leaks. With my SAFC NEO tuned using this above method and stopped it stalling completley. Let me know how things go.
