  1. Im not argueing the Genuin item is the best, but for the price of the cast manifold and the debate over performance gains etc i am going to try the copy. I have below some comparison pics. the first is the greddy genuin and the second the copy. Now they are not fair photos as the copy pic is a close up and the camera flash brings out the bumps. The legit photo was taken from http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=203859 just incase people think i dodged em lol Once again from these pics id say the Greddy is smoother but if u look at the runners the cast ruffness is very similar. For the money the knock off is pretty good internally. Just my extra 5c worth of bla bla

  3. I have a walbro too, I reckong simple if ur strapped for cash get a walbro from KUDOS motorsport online trader for about $160 delviered, its the 500hp claimed rating one. Or If you have the money go the tomie or nismo, i think KUDOS can help ya with that too. And they are very quick to deliver

  5. On my home PC i have a pic of the insides of a Genium Greddy and the copy and you cant pick them apart.

  7. MAtei regreted it so bad, should never have done it. A tthe time i was peed off wiht my car and the ni missed it. I bought a pimped beema with tv leather tetc etc but htat didnt cut it. 1 year late ri bought another skyline to replace the hole in my heart. lol

    I know hte tuner will pcik it on the dyno. But the car seems to be tempramental and some times doesnt like to rev out lke its being held back. If the tuner cant fix what is casuing it do run inconsistent then i thought if i had a knock read out i will have a little piece of mind knowing the car isnt knocking its head off. I lost my first r33 this way with the stock ecu and only 9psi. Im open to suggestions if any one is seeling or can make a knock read out of the stock sensors maybe? thanks for ur reply 666DAN

  10. Pining/knocking? i know them to be the same thing i may be wrong. I have a safc neo i purchased but hte damn thing doesnt have a knock read out. Does any one know of a wire mode for the neo so i can read nock or any other aftermarlet knock gauges? Thanks.

I have a 2 week old APEXI SAFC NEO, I will swap it for a APEXI SAFC2 plus a little bit of funds my way if any one is interested. Also i will swap it for a PFC plus cahs ur way. OR If any one has a knock detector or any description i would like to purchase it. Please pm or reply to this thread if any one is interested. Im trying to sort this out before this wekeend as i have my car booked fr a dyno tune. I am in Brisbane Thanks very much.
  12. That all soudns very logical, I dont understand then how i dusted a piston in my first r33 running 9psi of boost. I know it was pining but it it had stock ecu and 98ron fuel the ecu wold drop map and it should have saved it self???? shouldnt it? I am concerned wiht my current r33 as the dyno turner has given it 25degree advance timming, he says the car just doesnt wan tot do any hting on normal base timing for some reason. ITs getting tuned again this weekend as i am concere dit may not be safe, some times it get sluggish and other times run ok, i reduced boost from 10 psi to about 8-9 psi but it still experiences the inconsistent performance.

  14. So even tho it drops the map it still cannot protect u from blowing ur motoer for sure. And it has no driver warning if this happens. Is this a similar map to R&R there for experience the same power loss?
  15. Hi guys, I want to know if your standard ECU gives u any warning if it detects high knock levels? My first r33 dusted it self in one nght due to exesive knock. At the time the mechanic had sorted out the misfiring and th eonly symptoms i had left where the slight matchbox ratle sound that u couldnt really hear. I had no idea that this was the sound of knock. Fast foward 2 years and on my seccond newly aquired r33. I am rather paranoid about knock. I have a SAFC neo but i am reluctant to bother tuning it as it has no knock readout. Do you guys think i shoudl get some sort of knock readout or bte the bullet for a PFC. Is there a cheaper way than a PFC? Cheers

  18. Ive worked as a bouncer on some mean streets and helpe dpolice and i worked for a governemnt enformcement collection agency so ive seen both sides and i know these types of cops exist. Good job at being able to deal with it the way you did , i would have stapped , tried to beat the fck out of hte cops and prob got my self shotin the process. I hope u manage to see justice thru the right channels and put a stop to them.
  19. Hi mate i wouldnt bother mentioning htat at all. If you put a fornt mount on there then yes good idea to mention it.
  20. The kit does not give u a choice, there are two types from memry with pipng style from blitz. you will either have one or the other. Personally i like the blitz style that uses the stock pipes in the engine bay.
  21. You should be able to run 10psi before u hit any ecu problems, WIth high boost it will bring out any didgy coil backs u go tho too.

    It amazes me ow people go out of there way to be dck heads and infrindge on some one else. I guess u cant go arond being an vigilanted cause u will get ur self into trouble, ive learnt the hard way.
  23. Mate i did a similar thing, i locked em up before the speed hump that jump out in front of me :S I then backed off a the last minute and tuned to hit the bump at a bit of a angle. I didnt do inay structural damage but i flat spotted a tyre in the actual bead of it! it went thump thump thump every rotation ! luckily was just ineed of a aanother tyre to fix it . get it looked at by a suspensio place
  24. From what i ahve found out they are after soem one with an interest adn ability to learn race specific products and there application for different clasifications of racing. The role is over the counter retail from what i hear. Ive been in there and it looks like a great place to work.
  25. From memory its 4.5-4.8 litres with a oil filter change, buy one 5 litre bottle u will be right. Keep pouring till u used 4.2 litres then check th edip stick. top up , wait for oil to drain and check again then top up till the livel is near the high mark on the stick.
