  6. Few Questions/Thoughts Would a smaller turbo create boost at lower RMP's? I see alot of people putting large turbos on their cars to create greater horse power, and that's nice. I have an R32 GTS-T, I used to drive an R31 skyline with a 3.0L engine with a nice amount of torque down low, somthing which the RB20 lacks. These days you see alot of newer cars with turbos putting out crazy NM figures like the Astra, Mazda 6 and Ford Typhoon. I've seen you can put in GTR cams to give a little more down low. My aim is to find out what could be done to give more bottom end power. I am trying to avoid replacing the bottom end of the engine. Anyone else got any other ideas?

  8. SPOTTED! Silver R33 fishtailing and driving very dangerously in around phillip and curtin last night around 9.30pm. Don't know if the person is on the forum but mate you are a clown. Speeding is one thing. Constant fishtails inbetween 2 vehicles is stupid at best. If your on here you know who you are, just give a thought for other skyline driver who will get branded "Hoons" because of your stupid actions.
  9. People get their Ebay accounts hi-jacked. This seems to be the same sort of thing. I had a look at the previous auction history nothing even remotly in the same price range or even selling a car before. It's dodgy.
  10. http://www.cartracingupdate.com/News04/310...generalcart.htm Reading this above article it says that they can run boost levels from 41.5 - 44 inches of mercury... Could someone please help me out to do the conversion in PSI or Bar please? I mean if this is using the same measurement as whats on the standard guages in skylines then they would be running upward of 6 BAR or 84 PSI..... Is this correct? If so that awsome.......
  11. Go my 32 stocker with massive muffler that doesn't make much noise, weird jap owner.
  12. By museum you mean that ugly looking building near civic?
  13. I'll go 4 sure! These cars were made for cruising...
  14. PM Cheers
  15. Hey everyone. I was going through my R32's boot the other day, trying to stop all the rattles and so on. In the boot I found a 2nd ashtray, which I obviously don't need. Now I posted this here because I don't think that sending it by freight or post is worth the hassel, so anyone in canberra who needs an ash tray (I presume it's an R32 tray) So summary I got 1 ash tray it's free for anyone who wants it. Just post a message and well go from there. Cheers
  16. Stirlo can you pm me please. I want to see your GTR before sale time Franco told me what your doing with it, i'm just keen to see if that's ok.
  17. I went to the sutho with my dad to watch Crystal Palace v Birmingham on Fox, on the way I saw a car and I like wait a minute that was a Stagea. My dadas like a what?? I said i'll go back and show you, so that was me driving past slow. Sorry if it made your heart flutter seeing someone drive past your car so slow. I just had to educate my dad.
  18. Spotted last night ni Curtin, near the Primary School @ about 9pm A Silver Stagea parked on the side of the road.
  19. I bought a playstation 2 when they first came out, cost me $600, I sold it 2 weeks later but could only sell it for $550. Basically when selling something 2nd hand regardless of the age of the product, the buyer will always dictate the price. By all means try and sell it for what you paid, but I wouldn't think on here is where you'll do it. It's going to like selling snow to the eskimo's. Personally i'd cut my losses and sell it for around $1200, because they will only get cheaper i'd reckon. Then you'll get even less....... Your call
  20. don't mean for this to come across as rude, there is already a thread about this and it's on the 1st page of this section. Here's the link. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=54440
  21. I'll be there it will be a good chance to see if i've fixed my air con - hopefully good weather is the go
  22. Well hard to say I drove it today and the revs at idle seem to have increased, nothing differenet about the weather today either than other mornings. But they seemed to die down after the car had warmed up. I put the Air Con on and it didn't do what it was doing before but i'll have to wait until the internal sensor reads higher than 18 degress. But looks like problem solved. I'll be going on a cruise here in Canberra on the weekend hopefully the weather is warm so I can test it nice and properly. Cheers for all the help
  23. Need some info please, After reading the page on the above link I checked all the connections and made sure it was all clean, but when I first checked it wasn't connected firmly, like it just pulled straight of and I didn't need to unclip it at all. Would the fact that it may not have been connected properly cause the problem?
  24. When I have the Air Con turned on at idle sitting doing nothing it's fine, although it does idle fairly low. When driving the car with the air con on it's fine, the problem starts when I slow down to stop. If the Air Con is on and I down shift basically when I put the clutch in when the car is going 50km or less the car dies. So even if still moving. I think I need to adjust the idle up about 500rpm or so it idles normally at about 900rpm and with air con on it will die down to about 500rpm (currently it idles at the idle line indicated on the standard RPM indicator) Do people think it's the idle being to low and that adjusting the idle will fix the problem? If it is the idle how do I adjust it to fix this problem? Thanks in advance
