If you can tell me they fit straight onto an R32 i'm very interested

This is a mature way to look things. I respect your point of view. I haven't had the best weekend, on firday (start of the weekend just gone) I found 2 boot prints on my bonnet, I can tell you I wasn't very happy, luckily it didn't dent the bonnet, looks like someone was bonnet surfing (running/hopping across several bonnets) It is very fustrating that nobody seems to respect other people or their property. I didn't need ot prove my manhood as you put it, as I had said i confronted them to find out why they were being rude and hoonking the horn, the other guy was the one who narcked up threatened to be violent.

That's true and I can see how it comes across, in my defence I wasn't the one who threatened to get physical. I went up to him and asked their problem was and why they were honking the horn all the time. Then he said do you want me to punch you in the head, i'll headbutt you mate, things like that. The reason I call ed my friend , not that I need ot justify it to anyone.....2 v 1 = bad odds for me 12 v 2 is much more persuasive. The main aim I had was to ridicule them and taunt them and get them to apoligise infront of everyone that would have been enough for me. Not having got that I would love to know what their plates were and find their car or house anything they own and damage it. Revenge is the best medicine. I don't go around looking for trouble and I don't go around damaging other people property. Infact I keep to myself because I know if you confront it, then trouble is nearly the only outcome. They deserved it and didn't get it. It's in the past and i'll move on.....

I think I need to get my gearbox rebuilt. I just want it to change gear smoother, when I change gear into 2nd i feel all the cogs moving so I have to force it in not nice to cruise around, also going into 3rd I have to got to the middle of the H pattern box then into 3rd so I have to wait about 1/2 a second before, now I've driven other cars and they change alot smoother than mine. I have changed the oil and replaced it with redline but still no good. I wonder if anyone knows where I can get it rebuilt, I don't want to pay heaps either, but then gain who does Any suggestions from people who have had this work done before would be appreciated. Morning peoples, I was washing my car at Weston Carlovers at about 2pm (saw the guy who drives the yellow R34 with NISSAN plates) While I was washing my car a Ford Escape (blueish/purple) pulled up behind me and start constantly honking their horn while I was in the middle of washing my car. They had done this about 10 times in 5 minutes, when I ws about to leave they did it again. I snapped and had enough of this crap, I was their with my mum and my sister, who also were quite pissed with what these 2 guys were doing. I got out and confronted one of the guys who was just about to put money in the car to start washing the car, he was a dick*ead, running his mouth off. It turned into a very heated exchange where the guy was thearting to headbutt me, so that was that, I got on my phone and called one of my friends who frequents the weston skate park, I told him the situation and he can up with 10 of his skater mates. Only problem by time they arrived the 2 guys had finished washing their car and had left. Pitty pitty I really really wanted to hurt them because they were so arrogant. My main concern is that this is the start of road rage where people are being inconsiderate towards other, I had done nothing to this person) they arrived about 3 minutes after me) nor had I ever seen them before, they were just being prats. Unfortunately, they are going to walk away from this laughing just as they did at the car wash. I think the only way these sort of people will ever learn is to have their heads beaten in, but that is just me. I didn't get any plates. I just had to rant about it to someone, somewhere.. Just FYI i know this site does not condone fighting/violence ect ect.

I've had a full service on the car, they said they replaced the spark plugs and it's on the receipt. They used Platinum spark plugs, don't know what brand/type I had the work done at Tez in Mawson, so I don't think the guy was dodgy, he comes highly recommended on this site. I'll get some of the ones you suggest and see how it goes.

My R32 is stock except the exhaust, when I plant my foot it revs fine to 5000rpm but then it sort of stutters and jerks around a little any idea what is causing it? It seems to be ok towards 7000rpm but I need ot change gear then. Fuel pump on the out? Cheers

I bought an R32 skyline about 6 months ago, when I bought the car the speakers in the front and rear were very quite even if you had it turned up fully. I assumed the speakers had blown. So I went out and bought 6.5 for the back and 6" plits for the front installed them and they had been running fine. The CD unit it the stock one that came with the cars so it's fairly old about 15 years. When playing CD's sometimes it would skip/cut out (not reguarly about 1 times during 10 tracks) I put this down to the age of the CD player. Today I drove to a friends house and tried to start the car and it had alot of trouble I think it my be the battery, but then when I drove home and was about to turn the car off the speakers went silent. I turned the car off and back on still nothing, I've tried radio and CD's I get nothin'. Is anyone able to tell me why this is happening, I assume now it's because the speaks are having to much power run to them, but i've looked at all the wiring and it is factory, the only wires to change are the wires from the new speakers and they go straight into the head unit (as the factory ones were) Also i've been to an audio place they reckon it might be because the seapkers arne't getting enough watts running to them....I think the standard head deck runs about 30W per channel and the speaks are 180W. Anyone got any ideas?

if it's a registered business, then you'll be able to get the name of the company and it has to registered to an address, not sure what government department but it will have to be on record somewhere. Secondly if you got a receipt it should have an ABN on it and that will be registered with the ATO because each business needs to have one, try those 2. You could also try contact Yellow.White pages they had to send the bill to some address....... Telstra may be able to tell you the address the phone number is at, but they are pretty tight about security and giving information Also screw the cheap job, get it fixed good and proper if they show no respect to you i'm not sure why'd you try and show it to them, just says alot about you being a nice person I suppose Bad Luck, I hate anyone getting near my car (i'm very paranoid) hope everything works out, i'll try and find out what deparment you need to call as per the first suggestion.

I personally reckon it's not worth racing your beautiful piece of art and craftsmanship, they are good cars, if you take car of them it will be much better off in the long run. The skyline engines like to rev so rev them don't drop the clutch on em. Personally I reckon automatics will be able to bet a manuals off the line. I used to own an R31 Skyline, it was auto, i'd put my foot on the break and rev it to 3,000rpm then let go and it would take everything off including new monaros and skylines the line but never could beat all wheel drive cars, just had to much traction off the line.

don't both racing commonhore's they are worth the petrol and wear on the car, having said that if you car dead keen to smoke him dropping it from about 4,500rpm should get it right in the rev range off the line. I'm not to sure if you'd be able to beat him off the line entirely the VN's are 3.8L V6's and have a fair bit down low espescially considering it's auto it'll take off pretty fast.

Hello All, I would like to buy a front mount intercooler for my R32, it's not a problem getting the intercooler. My question is about the piping, is the piping kits for the R33 compatible with an R32 or won't it fit?

Hey, I'm looking at getting a FMIC for my R32 but can't seem to find any kits. Anyone know who stocks them in ACT or Sydney? Also anyone done this sort of work before? Do you need to cut any metal, I had friends who have installed FMIC's themselves on 200SX and they needed to cut holes near the battery....ect Also if anyone knows how much the kits might cost?

I have an R32 GTS-T, and want to put the boost up on a starndard setup to 12psi Just wondering the standard guage is in mmhg and goes to +7, which is about 14psi, correct? So why would I need a new boost guage when the standard one can go up to 14 and I'm onlt going to run 12? Is it the accuracy of the standard guage?

Yeah, got it registered, it's down at the auto elec at the moment getting the climate control sensor hooked up. It's goes ok, not as much torque as the old R31 but still nice to be driving a manual again.

didn't see the front of it, only saw the rear as he was leaving the car park. Stirlo_GTR, did you used to work with teletech then move to defence? (you don't have to answer in the fourm if you don't want, PM me ) If not don't worry. It's just that I knew a Sterling that bought a GTR and he lives in Canberra as well.

Spotted, Black R32, looks like GTS-T, number plate 'SINISTA', had a cat looking out the window, yes that's right a real cat. Was seen at Woden carpark @1.30pm today

What controller are you using?

At the moment I get 400-450km per tank from my R32 GTS-T and that's running normal petrol (Mum filled the car up for me put the wrong one in - ah well). I will be putting Optimax in the car after this tank runs out and also adding some octane boost. I wanted to know if I install a SAFC, either 'Greddy e-manage' or 'Apexi SAFC' and have it tuned so the car runs leaner, but not lean enough to cause detonation. Will I get better fuel economy by doing this? Also keep in mind that I use it as a daily driver and don't race around it in.
