Yep $12k...... In terms of running condition, it runs absolutely fine at anything but full, foot to the floor, throttle. If you accellerate heavily high in the rev range, it is a little hesitant, which I believe is the tuning of the power FC. The last time the Power FC was tuned (by Chasers in West Melbourne), the car did still had the stock exhaust and cat converter. I drove it most days for about 5 months that way with no issues. I would have got it re-tuned, however I ended up going overseas for a year - which now is going to be more like 2 and therefore not worth me keeping the car anymore. Please note my parents have moved house, so the car is now in Rye (a little further down the Mornington Peninsula).

I love the colour but I'm a bit biased. What sucks is that we are both trying to sell Yellow RS4-S Stageas in Melbourne at the same time... rare as hell when you're trying to buy, heaps of them when you're trying to sell! Good luck with it.

Hi all, Up for reluctant sale is my beloved RS4-S Stagea. I am currently living in the UK, the car has been living with my parents for the past few months. I was planning on being away for a year, but now it looks it may be longer so keeping the car with my mum driving it occasionally is no longer an option! I am the second owner in Aus, and have had the car since Jan 2009 (2.5 years). Details: Make: Nissan Model: Stagea RS4-S Year: 1999 Engine: RB25DET Neo Colour: Yellow Mileage Approx. 110,000km (Timing belt and water pump replaced at approx 45,000km, so not due again for a while) Gearbox: Factory 5 speed manual Drivetrain: AWD/4WD Attessa from GTR R33 with rear LSD and HICAS. Factory Options/details: Twin sunroofs Front strut brace Triple gauge centre cluster Stagea floor mats x5 Cargo net and boot screen Climate control Dual airbags Factory roof rails Rear wing ABS Modifications: Apexi Power-FC with hand controller (modified R34 GTT model) Turbosmart E-boost 2 electronic boost controller, running 11psi normal, 13psi high boost mode Apexi front mount return flow intercooler HKS split dump pipe (plumb back) Custom 3" exhaust including front pipe and cat-back with stainless steel muffler 3" high flow ceramic cat High flow panel filter (Apexi I think) 3" silicon intake pipe (from filter to turbo inlet to stop it sucking shut) Apexi Pen turbo timer Pivot Speed meter (180km/h speed cut removed) Exedy Medium duty clutch Stagea engraved cold air deflector plate Short shifter JVC MP3 CD player (Aussie model so radio ok) Bilstein front and rear shocks installed approx. 2500km ago, including custom SK valved rear shocks (modified R33 GTR) King springs from old SK group buy matched to shocks Front and rear whiteline swaybars Urethane bushes (adjustable) Powdercoated grey/silver R34 GT-T 17" alloys Federal SS595 tyres, rears 2500km old, fronts approx 10,000km Tinted front side windows to match factory rear windows Insurance approved remote alarm/immobiliser Oil and Filter regularly changed (Motul turbolight) Newish battery 1 year old Extra Bits: I have a whole heap of factory parts which I will include with the car, including: Factory full exhaust Factory shocks and springs Factory head unit Factory gear lever I think that was it but there where a few others lying around - buy the car and its all yours! Vic rego until November 2011. Car is in overall very good condition. It has a few minor scratches on the front bumper. The interior is also good, factory mats are a bit dirty otherwise everything perfect, no cigarette burns etc. Car will be detailed prior to sale. The car was running a little rough at full throttle when I left as I hadn't had the Power-FC re-tuned after the custom exhaust was installed. It has been dynoed before at 180awkW without the front mount, with a re-tune I'd expect 200awkW pretty easy. The car is located in Mount Martha, Vic 3934 (an hour from the city) at my parents. Obviously I am overseas at the moment so please contact me with any questions or if you want to go for a drive, and I will contact my parents or get them to call you to organise a time. Best contact is via email: xrhettx at hotmail.com Ill try to check PMs and this thread frequently. Any urgent questions you can sms my UK mobile on +447760954930 DO NOT RING THE NUMBER ON THE REAR WINDOW IN THE PICTURE - this is from when I bought the car! The car is going in for roadworthy and detailing this week. I have attached the only pics I have from just after I bought the car, new pictures will be taken once the car is detailed. Please note since the photos the cars exhaust has changed and the front mount has been installed. $14,000 Cash or bank check only, not interested in any swaps so please don't ask. regards, Rhett

Hi all, I have a set of 3 Blitz mechanical gauges for sale, and a Greddy oil sandwich plate with tappings for oil temp and pressure. Gauges include required sensors, there are 2 temperature gauges (perfect for oil temp and water temp) and a boost gauge in Bar (goes up to 2 bar or approx 30psi). The gauges are Blitz Racing meter I-D series, all with dark blue faces. Not sure what colour they light up as I have never fitted them. Were destined for my Stagea but have never got around to it, and now I will be moving overseas and my car will be living with my mum for a while, so I dont think she will need them. Asking for $150 for the lot. Pickup is available from Armadale 3143, Victoria. Or else will post Australia-wide $20. Please PM, reply in the thread or call or text me on 0404021495. regards, Rhett

Hi all, I am selling a set of used Koni adjustable shocks for a C34 Stagea RS4-S or RS260. These are the ones that have the rear eyes instead of the loops, so will only fit a manual car (no autos need apply). The shocks have 1 grove machined in them with a circlip which allows 2 two different height levels. I bought my car with these in it, they have probably done approx 30,000kms. I took them out and have replaced with Bilsteins. I was told the rear ones are pretty worn and would need to be serviced. I believe a number of places can do this in Melbourne. There are a number of scratches and scrapes on these that is fitting given their age. Pickup only, available from Armadale 3143, Melbourne. $200. Please PM me, reply in this thread or call/text on 0404021495. regards, Rhett

that day they had the snow plow going non-stop, there was a line of 40+ cars and 4wds waiting for the plow to do a run and then they would follow it down. There would be lucky to be 1 day a year like that. Yeah Hotham is at the top of the mountain, you actually drive almost to the top of the highest run. 95% of runs and downhill from the road. I've never seen them ice a road in Vic, but they may do it?

Okay just to let everyone know that the laws differ between NSW and Victoria. In Victoria EVERY car MUST carry snow chains when driving in the designated Alpine areas, even if its a 4WD or AWD or 6WD or whatever. The fine for not having chains, having chains that dont fit or refusing to fit them when instructed is more than $2500. Quite often in Victoria snow chains must be fitted to 4WD/AWD vehicles. I was at Mt Hotham 2 weekends ago, with my C34 RS4-S, and had to fit them. And so did all the Hiluxes, Prados, and I even saw a Hummer with chains fitted. Having 4WD doesnt help you when you are going down hill, and it wont help much going up a hill if its snowing enough. A mate of mine went off the road on the same weekend in his ute, he had stopped to fit chains, hand brake on, and the car just slid along the snow/ice 10 metres backwards into the Armaco railing. My chains are just normal Koneig (sp) chains, I dont have much clearance (15mm to suspension) but they seem to work well enough for those few times a year I'm up there. Bought them second hand on ebay for $110, good when 2 nights hire is $55. Didnt scratch the rims at all, but mine have been powdercoated so they are a bit protected. Photos are of 2 weekends ago after about 40cm of snow fell over sat night and sunday, took me an hour to clear the car of the snow, get it going and get the chains all set. Heading back up next weekend too. Cheers Rhett

front demister? do you mean the radio antenna like in an R32? I looked at a replacement windscreem for my old r32 gtst and it was about $300 for an aftermarket one (no inbuilt radio) or $800+ for a genuine one with the radio antenna wires.
