  1. Whats a BN? Off the top of my head some approx prices: GTR copy front bar: $450 GTR side skirts - keep the gtst ones, theyre better, if you dont have them, budget another $500 GTR read pods - keep the gtst ones or as above fork out another $300 GTR rear spoiler $200 Maybe cheaper, noone wants rear spoilers anymore. GTR bonnet - $700 plus latches GTR grill $200 In my opinion if you have the stock side skirts and read pods, just remove the rear spoiler and get a gtr front bar, dont worry about the rest.
  2. So you could use a DFA to change the signal from the CAS? and it would probably work better than the SITC as it has more resolution? Just throwing around a few ideas... At the moment Ive got the DFA and IEBC and a Universal Voltage Switch kit running an intercooler water spray... could add another beige box. ;-)
  3. What for more than double the price? Cant pick up a rb26 for $3k. There is a heap of info around the forums about this..
  4. Good 6th post mate. Try to be less condescending next time.
  5. What I dont get is how this car was complied (if at all)? It certainly doesnt meet the power requirements... Must have been a personal import?
  6. Hey 8oosted do they deal with under 25s with turbos? My renewal with Justcars is coming up and I'd be willing to change for the right price... I'll be 24 by the way. Rhett
  7. I know this is a bit off topic but most jap bodykit companies offer Fibre Reinforced Plastic products.. Is this the same as fibreglass or more like the plastic that standard bits are made from?
  8. I'm rating 1, 23 living in Victoria with an r32 gtst and currently paying $900 with Justcars for agreed value of $15k. I think its awesome value. I started 3 years ago on rating 3 at 21 paying $1700. But please do a search. And dont get 3rd party, your car is only covered for $5k so it works out to be more expensive per dollar value of car for less coverage!
  9. The BATMBL one is a front pipe too, so factor that in aswell.
  10. Tell me if you have a front mount you dont have a modified exhaust already...
  11. Hey all, I'm currently making an intercooler water spray system for my R32 GTSt using Jaycars Universial Voltage switch to switch the pump on at a certain throttle opening. My question is, is the throttle position sensor output pin 38 (throttle opening output) or pin 56 (throttle sensor output signal) on the R32 ECU? Its a bit ambiguous, and I dont want to go around cutting up the ECU wires just to check. Also, I asume that the voltage rises as the throttle opening increases? Thanks, Rhett
  12. Congrats on that, mine made 128rwkw at the lasy dyno day, with filter and catback only. You should be really happy with ur result! So I guess the cops didn't turn up this time? Just the fire brigade?
  13. My r32 gtst does about 440km per tank which at the moment costs me about $60 to fill in Vic these days. The only mods it has is a pod filter and a catback. They are reasonable on petrol, probably about the same as my old stock R31.
  14. You realise that it is illegal for you to drive an r33 gtst on your p's in Vic... Then again if you want one just get it, there is not much point getting an NA r33, you will soon get bored of it.
  15. With removing the rear seats please remember that (at least in Victoria) removing the seats makes your car defectable.
  16. Its normal for boost to drop off at high rpm with rb20s. The turbo is flowing more air and is getting outside its most efficient region. And the more air flows through the system (ie. at high boost and high rpm), the more the stock intercooler, piping etc becomes a resistance to flow, therefore more boost lost.
  17. No i dont but either do a search or go to a manufacters web site, most of them have links to online stores. Try: www.flow.com they have a few links on their site. Ausski in the city on hardware lane is a good place to go and have a look, they usually have pretty reasonable prices (especially towards the end of the season).
  18. They are shit... My favourite donuts are the packs of 12 cinnamon ones you get from the supermarket that are $1 because they're about the throw them out.
  19. Jaycar DFA??? Cheaper than a SAFC and aparantly works better.
  20. OK I'm going to jump in before everyone else crucifies you for not doing a search first.... Just go out and buy a BATMBL split dump and front pipe in one (dont get stainless its a waste). And whilst you are there buy one of his metal cats. You wont be disappointed. THis is the route I'll be going when I have the cash. Do a search for the thread, its in the business traders section, with dyno results etc... Rhett
  21. Awesome result.. Its still running really rich down low though, so ECU upgrade or ROM burn etc would be the logical next choice?

Doesn't ebay have a buyer protection thing up to $1000?
  23. Yeah if its your first go at snowboarding its best to rent at the mountian. But then again if you want your own gear and will use it for more than 1 week a year buy new gear. I've just got back from working in Aspen Colorado for their season, and all i can say is dont buy anything in Australia, it is so overpriced. Do a search for online snowboard shops in the USA or Canada and get it sent here, as long as you know what you want you cant go wrong. Maybe try boots on in a shop here to get correct sizing etc then order online. A friend of mine just bought a board on the web and it was about half the retail price here in Aus, and it only cost him $60 to ship it here.
  24. I think having a FMIC would be more of a safety concern than having an upgraded SMIC. Look at all those idiots out there cutting up their front bumpers, supports etc... that has to be detrimental for safety. When I get around to it i'll definately be putting an r34 gtt cooler on my r32 gtst, it just makes sense, especially if ur not chasing 250kW (which is a lot of money more than 180-200kW.)
